Chapter XIII

The next morning was hardcore for everyone, they had a little too much to drink the night before. They even had a plane to catch. On the plane Alix sat next to Jacob and not Tim as promised because he was her "husband now" and she was still pissed at Tim for grabbing her and putting her in the water when she clearly said no.

Once arrived at Alix's and Ushers house, Alix told her parents what happened in Las Vegas. Everything they did and the fact that they got married. Her parents loved Jacob and Lexi so they just laughed saying:" I remember my teenage years ". But Alix's mum was shocked at how big and beautiful Alix's ring was. She was impressed that he got her that for a fake marriage. Jacob then left his wife's house after saying goodbye to her. He went back to his place. There was his grandma, he hugged her tightly, he missed her so much. He then looked around the house and of course his father wasn't there. He asked his grandma where he was. She replied:" I don't think I actually saw him since you were gone two weeks ago, but I don't know I maybe just forgot". Jacob then said: " Are you sure you haven't seen him since the day before my fight ?? SHIT. Sorry grandma, I'm going to go shower ". Jacob believed his grandma, that his dad hasn't retuned since they had the fight together and since he punched Jacob in the face. Jacob decided to stop thinking about his father and move on, hoping that someday he will come back and not be a dick. He did send a text to Alix saying his dad hasn't come back yet. Because when they were in Vegas Jacob tried calling his dads phone a few times and he never answered.

Fast forward four months, Alix and Jacob are still happily married like Lexi and Usher. They forgave Tim, and Emma still hasn't told Tim she liked him a lot. Not so much has changed. During these two months, Jacob went to visit Alix's grandparents. They were really strict, he was the first boy Alix ever introduced to them. She never introduced Tim to them. And her grandparents loved Jacob, they approved. Her grandma on her dads side was even flirting with him as a joke. They also had a "kid", but he died. It was a hamster, they wanted to adopt an animal together. So they did. But instead of buying a healthy animal, they went to a shelter and saw this tinny little really old hamster who was almost dead. They told the lady working there they wanted it. The lady said the hamster was pretty much dead. Jacob and Alix didn't care. They adopted it and gave him the best last month of his life, he was only suppose to live a few days, but he ended up living a whole other month. When he died they did a little funeral for him. He was named ' sweety pie '. 

It was Friday night. Usher had invited everyone to come and have dinner and sleep at his place. His parents were out of town. Alix and Jacob slept every night together. They were living in between Alix's house and Jacobs house. But they more often stayed at Jacobs house cause their was only his grandma. Still no sign of his father. Anyway the group ordered tacos from the restaurant chipotle. And atet it in front of a short Movie. This time it was a comedy movie not like last time were they watch Annabelle and were Alix saw someone in front of the window. Alix was in Jacobs arms the whole movie. Once the movie was over, Emma wanted to play a game 'Truth or Dare'. Everyone agreed. Emma started:" Tim truth or dare?", he replied:" Truth ", she said:" Apart from Alix do you see yourself  being in love with, Lexi or me ? ", he replied straight away:" No one, of course not! ". It was Tims turn, he asked Alix, she chose Truth. Tim said:" Will you ever come back to me like you always do? ", Alix replied:" Tim just get over it, it's never going to happen ". Alix then asked Lexi who chose truth:" Lexi if Usher didn't exist, who would you fuck? ", Lexi replied:" Most likely Jacob ". Lexi then asked Jacob who chose dare: " So Jacob I dare you to fuck me. Nan I'm kidding chill Usher aha. I dare you to do 15 pushups with any girl on your back". He obviously chose Alix and did the 15 pushups with no problem. Jacob then asked Emma, she chose dare:" Emma I dare you to kiss Tim on the lips ". She did it with no hesitation. Tim didn't really like it. Emma finally asked Usher, he chose dare:" I dare you to run around the garden in less that 15 seconds ". It was pitch black outside. He did it and ran around in 20 seconds.

After that game they decided to have a little after party in the garden, the sky had beautiful stars and it was so quiet. Their house was in a big open space, their neighbours were at about a 200 meters away. So you could literally hear nothing .They all sat down and had a drink. At one point Jacob went to get refills, they din't have anymore in the fridge so he had to go to the shed at the side of the house. While he is unpacking the beer in the shed he hears footsteps. He turns around and there is a man standing there with a shovel in his hand. Jacob didn't even have the time to speak that the man hit him really hard on the head. Jacob dropped on the floor. 5 mins later he woke up with a really bad headache. He was bleeding a lot, he had blood all over his hands. He got up slowly, as he was getting up he heard a sound coming from the path that leads to the house. He was a bit lost in his mind, he went to join the group. He arrived and everyone was panicked, they asked what the heck happened. Jacob saw everyone except Alix. He said with a big worried voice:" WHERE 'S ALIX ?? " .  Usher then said with a worried voice as well:" Isn't she with you, you were taking a long time so she wanted to check up on you ! What happened to you man? ". Jacob reply quickly:" SOMEONE HAS HER ! ". He started sprinting to the path where he heard the noise as fast as he can. Usher went with Jacob, and Tim bought the girls inside and locked all the doors twice just to make sure.
