     The Start of the Mess.

Millions of unraveled miseries, thousands of crayons that gave colours to different dimensions. Chime's just one out of many wishing something far from possible. Fairies, dwarfs, gnomes, pixies—these little magical creatures that seems to be cute and adonyne, he thought. He closed his book of spells and was about to open his book of wizardry when his friend came.

"Chime! Hey man!" His gazes darted to his friend who tapped his shoulders.

"What?" he replied, forehead creased.

"Something was seen at the dark forest right after the earthquake happened a while ago!" Collins whispered, looking around, anxious that someone might hear something about it.

"What was it?" Collins smiled unnerving.

"A dwarf from an unknown forest—" What Collins said caught the latter's interest.

"Settle down wicked witches!" Before Collins could even tell more about what happened and the said 'seen dwarf' at the forest, he sat beside Chime and everyone in the class greeted Professor McKinsey.

"...good bye." The class went well but Chime's mind's not focused on their discussion. He was wondering if it's true that a dwarf had seen.

In their world—the world of witches and wizards, it is impossible to see living dwarfs and other magical creatures around because they're known as the compelling yet perilous creatures of all. It may sound hilarious as it seems but the fact that witches and wizards made their own world and became distant to others, it only indicates that they don't want weaklings, li'l creatures and those who love flowers and colours such as fairies and pixies. What they believe is that, witches can conquer the world's greatest problem on their own—not with the help of any other creatures.

"Where are you heading, my man?" Chime didn't bother himself to look. Well, if he's going to answer the question, he's obviously heading to the forbidden dark forest. Funny how it became forbidden and was called dark forest when everything around their world are dark purple and jet black colours.

"Go back, Collins McKinsey, or we'll both die." Collins raised both of his hands in the air and let the desirous dark witch Chime alone.

As soon as he reached the entrance of the forbidden dark and eerie forest, a lot of crows flee away leaving spooky rattles that echoed to the whole place. He stepped on his right foot that made a screeching sound—somewhat, sounds like something cracked, probably a bough from the lifeless trees around. On his left hand, he's holding his wand which sooner he wave into the air and whispered a spell,

"Luminous!"

Chime's chest is filled of excitement and strange feelings he can't explain. He never entered the said forest, not until today. He was expecting something because according to his professors, there are lots of wild beasts and creatures inside of the forest but looking at it, walking freely to the middle of the lifeless trees—he mentally laughed—thinking his professors were lying about them.

Minutes had passed, a gigantic basilisk was heard. It was hissing—roaming rapidly around. Chime needed to hide himself to the nearest giant tree, not knowing that it is where the basilisk's lay its eggs. Before he could even move, the basilisk above the tree slowly crawl down, hissing, ready to attack the witch who's hiding without thinking.

"Basi!" A girl popped out of nowhere. The basilisk humurously rolled its eyes and crawl above to lay on its eggs again.

It's like the lassie's voice has a power that even the basilisk who's known as a dangerous creature blenched. Chime stilled, realizing that he's almost eaten by the creature seconds ago only if the lassie didn't came for his rescue. He don't know what to say, he can't even look at the lassie.

"Are you all right?" The girl asked.

Chime nodded before his eyes bore onto the girl. He pursed his lips as soon as he saw her. She was glowing—she has a normal ear, not like him which was the first thing that caught his attention. Her lips were bloody, her hair's long brown, her skin's white, she's petite and she's wearing a robe—a night gown—that thing a girl would wear to sleep.

"Who are you?" Chime couldn't control himself not to ask. Who is she? Why is she here? Why does she look diverse, unsual for a witch—seems peculiar, looks different from him?

"Luna." Even her voice—it sent thousands of voltage of electricity to Chime's body that made him whimper—shivered down to his spine. It was almost like a fairy, or perhaps an angel—classical, magical—he can't explain.
Luna looked above that made Chime look at it too. The moon's big tonight, shining brightly at the skies, he thought.

"I came from there—" Luna said, pointing out the thing beside the moon.

"What's that?" Chime do not know. Of course, who would? He was just looking around the forest, searching for the said 'seen dwarf', expecting he could have it for the rest of his life but he didn't expected everything to be this way—he's infront of an unusual creature that don't show anything but peculiarity and magic.

"You mean, what are you?" Luna responded. Chime couldn't answer. He's a witch, why? Aren't she a witch too? He thought.

"I mean, why are you here? This was my first time of seeing someone weird holding a bough of a tree with a light on it, here, in this cool forest," Luna exclaimed.
Chime scratched the back of his head.

"I was searching for a dwarf and—" Luna's eyes, widened.

"A dwarf!? Here!? Have you seen it!? Omg! If ever, it'll be my first time to see an actual dwarf! Oh..." After being so alive, talking—Luna's shoulders fell. Her eyes saddened, her smiles vanished and she's about to cry.

"Why?" Chime felt worried. What's wrong with him? Even his feelings became unusual.

"I need to go." Luna looked above, again this time—pointing at the glowing blue round something above that Chime couldn't name because it was his first time to see it.

"Where? Wait... you don't live here? Where are you from? Are you lost? Or, are you a ghost?" Chime then felt scared—upset? He don't know. Did someone planned this? Like, everything?

"Earth." Luna said smiling that didn't even reach her eyes.

"I came from the blue planet, and I need to go before the sun show."

Before Chime could even speak, Luna vanished like she was suck up by the blue planet.

Chime then fell down on his knees, thinking what just happened, then, an information—something he read once on the dark side of their academy's library, came rushing through his mind, realizing that while he was searching for magical creatures, Luna was dreaming—lucid.
