Chapter 20

June 3rd (Five Months later)

Addison POV:

Today was the twin's party, and I was so excited about the party I had planned for them. I looked at the clock, and it read 7 am. I looked over to see my wonderful boyfriend sleep. We had moved into the house on Valentine's day weekend. Spending this Valentine with the twins instead of one on one, we went up to Joshua Tree the following weekend. I began to leave kisses all over Bryce's face.

B: Good Morning, my queen

A: Good Morning, Handsome. We gotta get up and set the backyard up.

B: Our wonderful backyard, in our wonderful home, that your wonderful boyfriend has bought for his wonderful family.

A: Your wonderful girlfriend is hungry, and It would be wonderful if you could get me some breakfast.

I kissed him and got out of his reach as I went into the shower. I heard Bryce walk downstairs. As I got out, I put on some sweats with Bryce's hoodie. I then walked downstairs to waffles, bacon, and eggs.

A: What about my coffee>

B: I think Mimosas would be better. It'll be a long day, my love for both of us. At least Nessa and Josh took the twins. It's crazy to think that a year ago today, you were in labor.

A: What's crazy is we graduated a year ago and so much more

As Bryce finished his breakfast, he went upstairs to shower as he told me he would do the dishes. I heard knocking at the door. As I went to open it, I saw Jaden and Mads. Thank god for two sets of godparents because one set was always able to help me when things got hard.

M: Hey Mama, you excited

A: I'm a little sad my babies are growing up. What am I gonna do when Carter starts wanting to date girls. And Bryce and the boys are scaring every guy away that looks at Amara.

M: You spend time with your amazing boyfriend. Make more babies

A: Bryce and I are content with our babies. Two is enough for us living in the spotlight, and we are young. We are about to be 20 and 21. So maybe more babies when the twins are four, maybe five. But, right now, they are a handful. A beautiful amazing handful.

M: Exactly, now, let's go outside and start the backyard. People will be here to drop off tables and stuff soon.

Bryce POV:

Today was about the twins, but it was also the day I would repropose to Addison. We had been back together for about two amazing years, but Addison had always been my best friend since we were in middle school. But, now we were parents dealing with the pressure of life. I loved Addison, and I knew that. As I finished getting ready, Jaden walked into my room.

Ja: You ready for today bro?

B: Am I ready to propose for the second time. After I proposed last year, no, I am scared she will say no, but the speech I have in my head. It's so much better than the first, and it's gonna hit everyone in their feelings.

As I finished getting ready, Jaden and I made our way downstairs. We then began to set up the party with the girls. The house looked so good, and the food caterers had just arrived. Of course, Addison had hired the balloon people to do a huge arch as long as balloons of thing 1 and thing 2.

All of us had shirts we were going to wear. Addison's saying Mother of all things, Mine saying dad of all things. And the aunts and uncles will have aunts/ uncles of all things. Amara was going to be wearing a tutu with Thing 2.

As we finished getting ready, I walked behind Addison and wrapped my arms around her waist. I then began to kiss her neck. She relaxed into me as I knew she was stressed. Addison had been planning this party for the past three months. And she wanted everything to go perfect as our twins only got one party. It was something that I admired most about Addison. She made each moment feel more important than the last. We went upstairs and changed and got into our party attire. People were beginning to show up, and I was excited Addison had invited her parents. The only person who knew about the engagement was Jaden.
