Y/n's pov

"What?" I asked

"Nothing just been a while since we've seen a new face at YG" Lisa says

"Oh that's all? Y'all had me worried there was something on my face" I joke causing everyone but Jennie to laugh.

"So.. you don't know Korean? I don't know English" Jisoo says and I nod

"Oooh okay I see where you're going with this. Let's make a deal you teach me Korean and I'll teach you English" I smile

"I'm Jisoos English teacher" Jennie scoffed and I glance at Duri who just shrugged

"Don't worry pal I'll teach you everything you need to know you'll be a pro in no time" Duri says

"Well I reckon I owe you one then" I smile and they give me a confused look

"What?" I asked

"Reckon? I mean I speak English but that's not something I hear very often or really at all" Rosie says

"Oh! I love saying that. Back in the states I had a friend from the south and she said the funniest phrases and words and some of them stuck with me I guess" I chuckle

"So where are you from in the states?" Lisa asks

"Virginia" I smile. I can see Rosie wanting to ask another question but Jisoo cuts her off

"We're here" she announced and I see Rosie pout causing me to laugh.

"We can play 20 questions later I promise." And I see them smile. We make our way into the building and I just follow behind the group with Duri as he and I chat about anything and everything. Jennie whips around causing us to back up a little due to the look she was giving us well mostly me.

"Y/n can you make yourself useful and go get me a coffee?" She snips

"Uh yeah sure Jennie-"

"Miss Kim" she huffs

"Oh you were serious about that? Anyways miss Kim what would you like?" I ask and write down what sounds to be a complex order. I turn to the other girls and smile.

"Y'all want anything?" I ask and they tell us and we nod.

"Y/n do you know where you're going?" Rosie asks with....concern? Naw I'm just imagining it.

"Nope I'm gonna learn how to swim" I grin causing her to chuckle

"I'll go with you" Duri says

"Lead the way teach"

Rosie's pov

I watch as Y/n and Duri disappear to go get us some coffee from the Starbucks a few blocks away.

"What's with you?" I ask Jennie

"Yeah why are you being so...I don't know rude?" Lisa chimes in

"I like Y/n she's funny" Jisoo adds causing Lisa and I to nod in agreement.

"Y/n is our intern she needs to know who's in charge" she says

"Um I'm pretty sure she knows who's in charge" I say

"And are you all going to just speak English now? How is that going to help her learn if we just speak English to her?" She says

"So you want to help her learn Korean?" I say

"I didn't say that, I'm just making a point. She isn't going to learn if we just talk to her in English" she huffs

"Well maybe we can help Duri teach her Korean. I'll help out at least, I want to get to Y/n better" I smile. I don't know what it was about Y/n but she just seemed to intrigue me.
