Laura's pov
I have a scene with Taylor today, so I get up early, wanting to be on time for the scene, as I can't wait to see her.
It's our first scene alone since we broke up, and I really wanna see her reaction.

I drive to the studio, and go get my hair and makeup done, then just chill in my trailer.
When suddenly, we both get called on set.
_______________
Taylor's pov
I arrive to the set, and spot Laura in her costume, standing in her assigned position.
"C'mon Taylor. Places everyone, aaaand action." The director chants.

"Okay, you can do it Tay, it's just acting." I repeat to myself.

Alex enters the chapel,
"Here's some advice, when a girl makes you cum the way that I do, you should always act thrilled to see her." she says, taking off her hoodie.
"Stop it." I grunt.
"Okay. You're not in the mood to banter, I withdraw my bant." she clears her throat and sits beside me.
"I asked some of the girls to come help me plan a memorial for Tricia, nobody showed up.I don't get it.
I guess I'm the only one who cares if there is a funeral." I rant.
"Okay. That's not the most self-involved thing I've heard you say, but it's definitely up there." she jokes.
"Alex, will you stop pretending like nothing happened?" I retort.
"Pipes, you can't force people to mourn the way you want them to just because it'll make you feel better." she explains.

"Cut!" Jenji screams.
We both come closer, wanting to know why she ended the scene so soon.
"What's up?" Laura asks.
"I don't feel it, you guys seem like you're strangers to each other." she argues.
"Well that's probably it" I murmur, and Laura looks at me sadly: she heard me.
"Okay, we'll try again." I say, louder than before.
"No, we'll continue the scene now." Jenji orders.
"Places everyone." the director says.
"And action!" Jenji screams.

"That's not what I'm doing." I pout
"Really?" Alex looks at me, with an ironic fasade.
"No!" I defend.
"Cause I think we both know that dealing with emotional chaos is not one of your strong suits.Which is why we're not having an affair, we're just being human. And why you are planning a memorial for a girl that you barely knew." she argues.
"We talked. I did know her!" I whisper looking down.
"Did you know her better than you knew my mom? " she snaps.
"That's not fair." I reply.

"CUT" Jenji screams, making Laura grunt.
"What now?" I whisper.
"Laura what's wrong today?"
"Nothing, I-I'm sorry, let's try again." she stutters.
"Okay." Jenji says regaining her seat, "Action" she screams.

"None of it was fair. Look, life gets messy sometimes. You know, you gotta learn you can't always fix it." Alex says, glaring at me.
"Heigh-ho, heigh-ho.
It's off to work I go.
Oh! Don't mind me, ladies." Crazy eyes says.

"And scene." The director shouts.
"We'll try again tomorrow, all of you head home and rest." Jenji orders.

Laura's pov
After that scene, I rush out of there, ashamed of what had just happened.
I head straight home, and take a long bath and turn on some Jazz.
As Cheek to Cheek by Lady Gaga, plays in the background, all I could think of was Taylor, and how she acted today, especially how she looked at me, her feelings weren't genuine, the way she stared at me was fake, it was all wrong, and I'm one to blame.
