Mermaid pt2

* A Few Months Later*

BILLIE POV

After Kayla helped me find my family we all agreed she stay with us, since she didn't have her mom anymore. She's been helping me out with my pregnancy and with the whole clan of koi's basically my family, I'm expected to have my baby soon so another member of the clan.

Me and Kayla have actually became really close, and would go on land, I taught her how to use certain things on the human lands. We've fooled around..she experienced experiences that she's never felt before, and ate things she's never eaten.

We spend most of our days in the water than we do land, one because I'm pregnant and two because we've been switching between water and land almost every month. Can't do that can we. Me and Kayla along with my family are currently playing with the younger koi's in the group

The elders are held in a cave with a medic, the adults, pregnant females, and infants are in different little dens or caves we find in our territory. The guardians are watching over the clan and the leaders which is my brother Finneas and Claudia his wife are in the big cave under the ground, me and Kayla sleep anywhere to be honest.

" BILLIE" Kayla yells over to me swimming over with an injured toddler, I look over and swim to her " w-what happened" I asked the injured toddler " I-I was playing with Kay, winkle, and Opal when all of a sudden the turtles shell came at me to fast and cut me" he said speaking softly as he sniffled struggling to breathe

" hey hey shhh calm down, we're going to help you" I said ruffling his hair and kissing, his head. I sat my hands on his stomach and focused all my energy on my hands and the waters heat. Sending electrical waves onto his skin healing the medium sized cut.

After I was done healing him I sighed, " there go play, and be careful next time okay" I said speaking in a soft tone. He nodded his head and swam off " that's one heck of a power" Kayla said swimming over to me, " I found it when I was young and on land" I answered swimming towards a bed of sea kelp.

" you tired" she asked swimming slowly after me " yea, but please wake me up when something happens to the young ones or anyone of that matter" I said softly, kissing her softly on the lips. She smiled and swam off as I sighed and laid down on the kelp pulling a bunch of sand on top of me, I soon felt myself dozing off into the darkness.

KAYLA POV

I swam over to the other younglings talking and playing with them, until a loud roar could be heard. Finneas came out of the cave he was in rushing all of the young kids inside the safe underground hole, he then zoomed into the other cave where the elders are being held leading them into a safe home too.

He then got Claudia and looked at me " what are you waiting for C'mon " he said rushing Claudia into the hole " but Billie, she's still in the crevasse area " hurry and get her please" he said going inside the cave, I swam as fast as I could without being seen or heard by whatever those creatures were.

After making it to Billie I woke her up " Billie... Billie get up HURRY" I said panicking, " w-what's happening" she grumbled floating up. " somethings coming, everyone is already in hiding C'mon" I said pulling her arm, she swam with me noticing the changes in the water then suddenly she stopped.

" Bill Cmon we can't stop they're waiting on us" I said pulling her " I know who they are" she said looking in the direction that the loud bangs and roars are coming from " w-what do you mean" I ask still struggling to pull her " BILLIE COME ON PLEASE" I shouted she looked over at me and then back in that direction " fine" she whispered swimming towards the safe zone

I sighed as we made it back, we were just about to enter when a loud voice boomed through the water causing Billie and I to freeze. " STOP" the voice echoed, Billie slowly turned facing the leader or whatever he was " what do you want" Billie said glaring at him and his shark buddies
