Corruption Book One: Amnesia

~Flashback/Dream~

~Ender Dragons POV~

I remember the coldness and the feeling of abandonment. I was small, harmless and weak. It was raining and I wandered around looking for a place to keep warm. My path was suddenly blocked by a man, he stared down at me. I was shivering, whimpering and shaking. I thought I was dead, then I felt warm arms scoop me up and hold me tight. When I looked I saw it was the man. "Shh, I'm not going to hurt you. It will be alright." His voice seemed very calming to me, he opened a door and light flooded out. The man set me down on a bed and then sat next to me. "I'm Brine." He extended his hand to me, I nudged it with my small snout. "I hope that you aren't hurt at all." I nodded and snuggled up to him, then I fell asleep.

~A few months later~

I roared loudly, warning my friend of the danger heading his way. He turned and slew the beast instantly. In the aftermath a girl arose. She was beautiful, she looked like an angel. Brine walked up to her slowly, and he spoke, surprisingly calm. He asked her if she would do the honor of going out on a date with him. She nodded, and thats how it began. After a few weeks she told him that she could not stay with him. That she had to return, he sadly let her go. After a few more months he was fighting a huge monster, he was so close to killing it. The creature used a last resort, it made Brine see her again. Which caused him to become distracted, I ran to his rescue as I saw the monster raise his giant claw. I was too slow, the beast brought down his claw on Brine. Then I awoke from my nightmare. She was the answer to getting him back, I had to get her to get him. I went on my mission to find my last hope.
