Previously...

"Mama, why does daddy have to be mean to them? They were hungry." Great, now my son is making me feel like trash.

"Sweetie, he's just stressed out." I stopped in my tracks, actually giving a damn on what was being sad about me. "He wants this party to be perfect for you. Though what Joey and Tristan did was wrong, you don't ever call people names. It's very mean."

"Then why did daddy?" My heart was clenching at this point, how could I be a father that lashes out on people like that around his own son?

"Daddy knows them, honey. But, that does not give you the right to say that."

"Okay, mama. Can I see daddy? I want to make him happy." I heard her sigh in frustration.

"Not right now, let's give him some time. You and I can go down there when your new cupcakes come here, okay?"

"Okay.." Preston wasn't happy with what his mother said, but I don't blame her. I did need some time to clear my head because I can't lash out on my family. I head down more towards my study and I felt glares piercing into my back.

"Guys, leave Seto be." Julia spoke before I closed my study door.

QUICK NOTE: Obviously Preston's party will be in multiple parts, but only 3. I'll make sure this gets updated before Wednesday! I will be as descriptive as I can and will be needing a lot of time, and focus. I also found out I can be on my phone while I'm at work as long as I'm paying attention to the phone, though I don't like updating on my phone. It takes a lot out of my battery... Anyways, enjoy this chapter! Thanks for reading!

Julia's POV

We all were in the living room still waiting on Joey and Tristan to come back with new cupcakes. Mokuba turned on the TV and put on Paw Patrol for Preston, as he played with his toys from his room and us adults talked.

"So, Miss Julia.. I heard that you are pre-"

"Yes!" I cut Atem off, waving my hands. "I'm sorry, I don't want Preston finding out." I whispered that last part, as he turned his head to the television. Something was off though with him and I had a feeling I needed to find out why.

I looked over to my side and saw Tea looking confident, so she might know what's going on with him.

"Hey, Pharaoh?" She got his attention but he still looked a little gloomy.

"Yeah, bud. Are you okay?" Duke chimed in, but I had a feeling this wasn't going to be well.

"Guys, let him have some space. He just came back from Egypt just barely a month-" I got interrupted by Atem himself, and he had a fake smile on his face.

"It's not that, Miss Julia. I apologize for interrupting." He placed his hand up, and gently stood up to walked over to the kitchen. It was an awkward silence until I looked over at Yugi, who was fiddling his thumbs so he might know why he's acting weird.

"Yugi, what's wrong with Atem?" I asked him as I took a seat next to him, hoping to get an explanation.

After an exhausted sigh and a few turns of his head looking around the room, he whispered,

"Julia, the Pharaoh really likes you.." I felt my heart skip a beat, and I took a hard breath not sure if this is true or not.

"What? You're kidding right?" Yugi looked down on his lap and his expression was sadness.
