The Light of Seto Kaiba's Life

Previously....

"That is so adorable. When is your next appointment?"

"On Thursday. Seto's coming with me though this time, if he's not a working zombie. I told him to work today while I'm busy with you. I just hope he keeps his word. He's so behind right now when he's trying to help me while I'm pregnant and he's throwing all of the company on Mokuba's shoulders."

"What?! That's insane. But, Kaiba not working? That does not sound like him. He hasn't really been himself in a long time. You changed him, Julia." Tea said smiling, but I took that as a compliment.

"I know he changed and I'm happy he did. He's not that self centered asshole now, though he does have his tendencies. I sometimes miss his remarks because that's who he is. Like that's the man I fell in love with." My heart warmed, remembering when Seto and I first got together.

"Girl, I'm surprised you even married him. He is something special." Tea said giggling, and I giggled with her.

"Man, me too." We laughed together as we continued our day, and it was going to be a good day!

3rd persons!

time skip to Thursday..

"Seto, dear?" Julia peered into his work office, wearing a white and blue outfit and she made her hair wavy.

"Yes, Julia?" He sounded pretty upset about something, so she slowly walked in after scanning her card to go inside of his office.

Julia slowly closed the door behind her and she walked over to his desk, only to see his eyes glued to his computer.

"Are you alright?" His wife asked him, showing concern.

He looked over at her and his eyes lit up. 

"Yeah.. I am now." Seto got up and hugged Julia, and placed his hand on the bump carrying his daughter; Emerly. "You're glowing." He said as he kissed her forehead.

"Thank you." She smiled at him and looked up for a kiss. 

After that was granted, Seto checked the clock on his wall. 11:45am. 

"What time is your appointment today? I'm coming with you, right?" 

"I would love if you did, you did promise me you would go." Julia grabbed his hand and smiled at her husband. "The appointment is at 1:30pm, if you'd like to grab lunch with me beforehand?" Seto smiled down on her, and rubbed her belly gently.

"That's fine." He said to her very blankly. "Where's Preston?" 

"He's with Mokuba for the day. When I left to come here, Preston was napping on the couch while Mokuba was watching TV." Seto nodded his head and kissed her forehead again. 

"Well, I have a meeting at noon. We should be able to have enough time to grab lunch after my meeting." 

"Sounds good to me!"

Mokuba's POV

It's been only 30 minutes since Julia left and Preston is still sleeping on the couch. I even put on Paw Patrol, and he loves that show. I wonder if he didn't get good sleep last night. 

"Hey, Roland?" I looked over into the kitchen and saw him grab a bottle of water from the fridge.

"Yes, Mokuba?" He came right over into the living room, and stood next to me like he does with my older brother.

"Do you know how to make brownies?" For some reason, I wanted brownies and I didn't feel like making them.

"I do, do you know if we have everything to make them?" I nodded and got up from the couch slowly, trying to not wake up my nephew.
