Bedelia shot her head in the direction of the voice; a lady with big round, black sunglasses and a big sun hat looked at her. The lady wore a long dark blue coat and red leather gloves; even though it was summer. She had never seen this lady before; she didn't know the lady, but it seemed like the lady knew her. "Who are you?" Was all Bedelia could master to say. The lady smiled at her "My name is Merope Pleiades" the lady said; as if it was obvious. Though it had not helped Bedelia at all to know her name. "What are you doing here?" Bedelia asked a tad bit more confident this time. "What do you think?" The lady asked almost chuckling. "I-i dont know" Bedelia almost pressed the words our her throat. The lady chuckled "to take you to my Academy, of course" the lady said; as stating the obvious. Bedelia was begging to get concerned for her own mental health; this couldn't be happening why did this lady know her.
"You own an Academy?" Bedelia asked; still unsure what was happening. "Of course i do" the lady said grinning. Bedelia could only imagine how dumb she looked right now; the confusion was printed on her face. "Dont look so confused sweetie, I'll explain it for you." The lady said and shifted in her seat. " let's start from the beginning. 7 sisters; all born by a star each in the pleiades star constellation; decided to make an Academy for extraordinary children; as them selves. They decided to gather all Hyperoin children at the age of 14 and over, and well give them a place at the Academy." The lady started. "Uhm sorry, but what is an Hyperoin?" Bedelia interrupted.
The lady looked at her; for the first time confused by Bedelias question. "You don't know that?" The lady asked. "No, i don't, sorry" Bedelia said. "No need to be sorry, its just i expected you would know" The lady said. "Cause well, you are one"
"Well what am i then?" Bedelia asked almost scared. The lady smiled again; maybe to calm Bedelia. "Well, an Hyperoin is a human being gifted with powers of the gods"
The lady said. Bedelia began freaking out; this lady couldn't be telling the truth. "But im completely normal" Bedelia said in a shaky voice.
The lady looked at her with an overbearing smile. "How will explain what just happend then?" The lady said. Bedelia felt her heart baeting fasyer and faster; she thouhgt it would beat out of her breast.
"Wha- what do y-you mean?" Bedelia said swallowing; so her voice wouldn't break further. The lady sighed sadly. "I know what happend, i saw" Bedelia was on the edge of crying; she didnt want to believe this.
"I-i dont get, it has n-never happend b-before" Bedelia said; trying not to cry. "There's no need to be scared or sad. And well, an Hyperoin's powers get more powerfull the older they get; which means the powers will get more difficult to conceal and hide away from the outer world; which is why i made an Academy; to help young Hyperoin's control their powers" Bedelia sat in shock; this must be a dream; all of it, the dinner as well. She pinched herself in the arm. She winced; then it wasnt a dream; she could feel it, and it hurt.
Bedelias heart was still beating fast; though not as much. "I don't understand, why im a born with this?" Bedelia asked nervously. "Only the wothy are born with theese powers, others get it from their parents; but still only if they're worthy of the powers" The lady said. "Well, how does it happen; like can you see if someone is born with theese 'powers'?" Bedelia asked; still trying to stay somewhat calm.
"Well yes, or more precisely; if the parents are Hyperoin's; then no. But if they aren't; a lightning or other natural phenomenon will happen at birth"
Bedelia sat for a second; completely quiet. "I don't think anything extraordinary happened at my birth" Bedelia said and looked back st the lady. "Well, you must have gotten it from your father then" The lady said; without further thouhgt. Bedelia raised her eyebrows "You know my father?" Bedelia could feel the confusion creeping over her face.
"I know alot of people, but i didn't know your father personally; I only heard of him" The lady said. " What did you hear?" Bedelia asked curiously. The lady smiled at Bedelia. "I heard about the great things he did to help the people he was surrounded by"
"I've never known him" Bedelia said sadly. "I heard that to" Ms. Pleiades; as she was called said.
Suddenly Bedelias disbelief crumbled; it was gone. "Why are Hyperoin's given theese powers?" Bedelia asjed and looked up agsin; trying to push back the thouhgts of her father.
Ms. Pleiades looked at her and smiled "To protect the ones living on earth" Bedelia thouhgt for a second; before asking "From what exactly?"
Ms. Pleiades sighed "I think its better i tell you another time"
Bedelia nodded "Okay then" There was completely silence for a second or two.
"Bedelia?!" Bedelias mother called. "Are you okay out there?" Bedelia shot up in her seat. "Yess momm!! Im fine" Bedelia called back at her mother; who was still inside. "Good!" Her mother shouted; generally sounding happy.
Bedelia slumped back in her seat. Shit; What would her mother have thought if she had seen her talking to stranger. Bedelia looked back to where Ms. Pleiades had been seated; she was gone. Bedelia sighed; It had all been her imagination.
She finally went inside again. Marcus and his parent's was saeted in their living room, but Bedelia went right pass them and up to her room. As she opened the doors and went in; she threw of her shoes and fell onto her bed, and only seconds after she hit the madress; she was asleep.
When she woke up the next morning; she had forgotten about the lady from yesterday. She also realized; that she was still wearing the dress from yesterday; she must really have been tired. She stood up from her bed and walked over to her balcony; and thats when she saw a letter laying on the railing. She walked over to the letter and opened it. It said;
Dear Bedelia Paris Rose, i am writing to gladly inform you; that i have found a place for you on my Academy.
The year starts the 21st of August and it is expected; that you give back your answer within the 10th of August.
