"Ahjussi!!" The little girl Nari landed into Bin's arms, just in time when he bent down to catch her. She was about to lift the girl up when he looked up and saw the seemingly astonished lady in front of her.

Their eyes met and a certain feeling of familiarity and warmth crept up on him. Trying to compose himself, he lifted Nari up and was about to say something to the woman when Secretary Kang called him, looking as if he's in a rush.

"Daepyonim! Your parents have been looking for you, we'll be starting the program in a while." Secretary Kang told him as he unawarely blocked Yejin from Bin's view.

He then ushered Bin to the front as soon as he bent down to release Nari. Bin assured the little girl that he'll see her again later. Escorted by Secretary Kang, Bin was unable to at least say a word to Yejin.

Yejin got confused as to why the man was here and it looked like Secretary Kang knew him more personally than just as a benefactor. They disappeared in her sight and she ushered Nari to take her seat as the host of the program announced that they will be starting in a minute. She went to the assigned table to their group at the back, but she's sure she got distracted after seeing her SNS follower in the flesh.

"Unnie, are you okay? Did something happen?" Mujin asked her just as she sat beside her. "Oh, nothing, I think I'm just thristy." She smiled and drank the bottled water given to her by Mijung.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, I'm Yoo Jae-suk and I will be your host this afternoon. I would like to welcome everyone to the Little Hearts' Foundation 40th founding anniversary. And to begin, I would like to welcome our children from Angel House. Hello Kids! Are you excited for today's event?!"

"Yeah!!" The kids answered merrily and the rest of the audience cheered them on.

"I also would like to appreciate the presence of some of our sponsors and benefactors, look around please, thank you for being here with us today. And of course, I would like to acknowledge the Hyun family, for without them, all of us won't be here at all today. They were the ones who established this foundation." The audience, especially the children, gave a louder  round of applause when they heard the Hyun family's name.

Yejin's applause, however, seemed to get weaker until it stopped when a thought struck her. Hyun family. established Little Hearts. Mrs. Kim. only son. Hyun. HGBC. Hyun Global Business Center. Hyun Bin.

Just as soon as she connected the dots, she let out an audible gasp, which thankfully was drowned out by the host's voice. Omo.

He's Mrs. Kim's only son? Halabeoji's grandson? But what about Hyunsoo?

Still not getting the reason how they got connected through Hyunsoo or if Hyunsoo ever has something to do with it, why would a Hyun follow her and connect with her via SNS? The first connection was still a mystery, but at least she now knows that he's not a poser. She chuckled at the silliness of her thought. She was almost about to laugh when the subject of her supposed-to-be laughter came to the front and was handed with the mic.

"Good afternoon everyone, on behalf of our family, we would like to thank you all for being here today. It has been 40 years since this foundation was established, albeit from a very sad and unfortunate event for our family. But looking back now, we know that losing my older brother back then already served its purpose. From my unborn brother's life was born an army of people  ready and willing to give love and life to the many children who needed them. So to this day, we are grateful to everyone who gave whatever they had for this foundation's cause, may it be money, service, time, or even those things which cannot be measured, such a smile or a hug to every child this foundation has taken care of. We look forward to the many more years of serving and loving these children with you. From my heart and my family's, thank you and let's have fun today!"
