[Yejin]: Hi Bin..I'm sorry, I wasn't able to get back at you..things've been crazy the past weeks..uhmmm..I'm not sure but maybe we can talk?

Yejin closed her eyes as soon as her finger hit the send button in the messaging app in her phone. There.

She was up until almost 3 AM that morning, processing her conversation with Hyojin and finally mustering the courage to make a move after the incident with Bin. Hyojin was right, they should talk...but would he still be willing?

Her insecurities are gnawing her up and now, she's questioning her action of reaching out to him again.

Would've it been better if they just go back the way they used to be and not talk about it?

But Yejin-ah, can you talk to him, look at him, without getting lost in his eyes and not remembering how his soft lips captured yours?

Just as she was going to go deep in her musings, her phone rang.

Bin.

"Yeobeosoyo?" She answered, anticipating his voice, with her cold hands.

"Yej..uhmm..hi!" Bin, whose voice still lingered with hesitation.

"Bin, hi, you got my message?"

"Yes, so, can we meet and talk? I can come over your place and pick you." Bin suggested.

"Uhmm, or maybe we could just talk here? I can cook something for lunch."

"Are you sure? I'd like that if you don't mind cooking." I missed your cooking..Bin almost blurted out. He now knew it won't help their current situation.

"Of course, I don't mind. Come over then. See you!" Yejin said, somehow relieved that the awkwardness seemed to have somehow diffused.

"See you!" Bin ended the call and prepared to go to her place.

"Wow, thanks for the lunch Yej!"

Bin sat and started to scoop the dishes into her plate. They did well. As soon as she saw Bin at her door, it was just like how they were the last time he picked her up for their morning run. The air of awkwardness seemed to have been erased by the weeks that they haven't communicated with each other.

They ate with Bin praising her cooking just like before.

"You cook better, you know!" She gave her a knowing look and a cute nose scrunch.

Bin caught it and laughed heartily. "Wae? Is there something funny?"

Bin shook his head and smiled at her. "You're just cute. I miss that. I missed you."

Yejin was taken aback by his words and felt her heart flutter. She missed him too..but should she say it?

Sensing her silence, Bin cleared his throat. "Uhmm Yej..whatever happened last time in the past weeks, maybe we can talk about it later? I have some things to say." He told her with an apologetic look.

Yejin's heart was touched by his sincerity and agreed to carry on with their lunch. They tried to talk of other things, especially the updates on each other's live which they missed in the past weeks.

With her two-seater couch, the close friends sat facing each other. Yejin smiled and offered to talk first.

"Before anything else, I'd like to say sorry for not answering your calls and messages..and thank you for still being willing to talk to me.."

Bin looked at her and realized how she's also been bothered by what happened to them. "I understand Yej..it's really a relief that you messaged me and asked me to meet and talk." He said assuringly, his eyes conveying the relief he just mentioned. "But, I would like to offer first an apology, Yej, for that incident. It was not proper to do. I am deeply sorry."
