* Evanna's pov *

I rub my temples as I place the documents beside me, I sense a headache forming and seeing the workload on top of my desk didn't quite help much. being the director of the company isn't ordering people around and giving them your work load, it is harder than it looks even the tas of explaining me not so cooperative employees my perspective on the product seems so stressful now, and there has been no profit in our sales and the new project I have been working on should be launched soon and it will increase the worth of the company I have not even found the investors, the presentation hasn't even be finalized yet, the production of the sample products hasn't been started yet, and the launch of the product should be held soon for the benefit of both the company. My assistant Jackie, he is not only my assistant but a good friend also, he has an amazing sense of fashion, he informs me about the meeting of the new project, there was a few things that need to be discussed no scratch that a lot of things that needed to be discussed.

 I walk into the meeting room and I see everyone present, they all stood up as I walked in and I greeted them and motioned to start the meeting, the meeting went by in a glance as the meeting adjourned and we did have some progress in the finalization of the presentation and we called it a day and with that, it was the end of the meeting, everyone flushed out the room except me I was looking at some files and I found myself fidgeting with the ring on my finger a smile creeps on my face 

* flashback *

I was going for my higher education in the united kingdom and I was at the airport with my best friend they are basically my sister from another mother, we were childhood friends and have been inseparable since then, we went through everything together they have gotten my back and I completely trust them with my life. I had gotten into a college in the UK where they got into college nearby it would be hard leaving them and going Ella says " we will miss you sooo freaking much, you better call us every day" and Charli being herself " have fun partying and I heard there are soo many cute boys you know what I mean " and wiggles her eyebrows we all start laughing, GOSH I'm soo going to miss these two idiots "the last call for the flight leaving for UK 1007" "guys I got to go take care and don't get into trouble when I'm not there ok"  I'm like a mother for them they always end up in some shit and I got to help them out.  " Group hug !!" all three of us scream at the same time. Elle says " wait before you go we have a surprise give me your hand and I feel her slips something in my finger I open my eyes to see a gorgeous diamond stone sparkling, the ring was made up of silver with beautiful floral carvings on it and at the back, it had best friends carved it was a most beautiful ring and most precious jewelry I owned " surprise !" they both yell at the same time. " OMG ! guys you shouldn't have I love you guys so fucking much! you guys are going to ruin my mascara" we had another group hug

* end of flashback *

" what are you smiling at you goof ?" and like that my bubble broke and in came two idiots giggling that happens to be Ella and Charli, I feel like they have become really close to each other when I was not here but I guess I'm being paranoid, Ella is the operations manager and Charli is the marketing manager Charli says more like interprets my thoughts " Hello earth to Eva ? which prince are you waiting for ?" and Ella says " oh from Prince Charming I remember the real reason why we came! ok here goes nothing  you won the ' BUSSINES WOMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD !' you did it !!"  wait what did I hear it correctly I need some conformation" wait did you say what I think I said !" Charli practically screams " YASSS !!"  then we have a mini dance party right there in the meeting room!  Elle says " ok let us get back to business, you see what I did there.." and wiggles her brows and smirk on her face and Charli replies " you and your lame puns. anyway let's ignore her and pretend like my ears didn't just bleed" and Elle does her signature eye roll and mumbles a "whatever"
