San was cutting the bread while Mingi placed the ham and Hongjoong sliced the cheddar. The three had shared some anecdotes about the group activities they had done since Mingi and Hongjoong had been placed together but not San.

"So who did you end up with?" The elder asked.

"I was with Wooyoung, Yeosang and Jongho. How about you?"

"Mingi and Seonghwa"

"So Yunho was by himself?"

"Poor him" Hongjoong felt bag for the big teddy bear.

"Yep, what did you guys do?" San asked as he washed a few leaves of lettuce.

"We had to throw a ball towards another student and say something nice to him" Hongjoong answered but Mingi scoffed and continued spreading the sauces in the sandwiches. San looked at Hongjoong who shrugged.

"We also played some kind of piggyback catch the flag, it was so fun! I was on Seonghwa's back and I grabbed Mingi's collar and made him tumble on the grass which made Jisung, who was on his back, fall which was worth a lot" Hongjoong smiled and elbowed Mingi who didn't budge.

"That fall hurt"

"Yeah but it made Jisung fall, it was worth it" Hongjoong smiled big and didn't notice the look on Mingi's face.

"He was on my team" Mingi kept on arguing.

"It was just a game, Mingi. He's a jerk when he's not on your team" The elder scoffed not understanding his friend's reaction.

"Well looks like you had fun" San finished cutting the cucumber and placing the slices inside the bread.

01h12 pm

The three boys sat down on the bench next to the rest of their friends and started giving out the sandwiches.

"Without mayo for, Jongho"

"Thank you"

"No cucumber for you, Hwa"

"And the non-spicy for Yeosang"

"Nice, thanks guys!" All the boys started eating while moaning making each other laugh as well, the sandwiches felt like glory after a long morning.

"I can't believe that I was A) alone and B) with Hyunjin" Yunho groaned.

"Yeah bad luck, dude" Wooyoung said as he patted his friend's back.

"At least I got to mock him in front of everyone, if that guy thinks I'm gonna let him step over me, he's wrong"

"Way to go my friend" San laughed but nodded his head in a "knowing" way.

"I made Jisung fall in the middle of a game, I felt like a god. It made him so pissed, the teacher had to bench him" Hongjoong high fived Seonghwa as Mingi scoffed on the side.

San noticed and lowly whispered in his friend's ear.

"You okay?"

"I don't want to talk about it" Mingi spoke through gritted teeth. San let it go but wondered what could have made his cheery friend frown like this.

"Alright listen up! Some of us are going to go for a walk through the forest, anyone can join"  Mr. Kwon spoke loud so all the students could hear. 

Yeosang, Yeonjun and Wooyoung immediately looked at each other before slouching more against the tree they were lying on, Yunho and Jongho who weren't here didn't hear. Seonghwa was already playing badminton with Seungmin, Seoho and Beomgyu whereas Hongjoong was busy talking music with Ravn and didn't feel like walking.

"Come, Mingi. Let's go" San offered.

"I don't know, man" Mingi groaned, he didn't feel like taking a walk.

"Oh come on, please?" San got up and extended his hand which the younger took before walking towards the teacher along with other students. 

03h55 pm

The group had been walking for a bit more than an hour and were now at the viewpoint, resting. San was sitting on a log next to Mingi, a bit further away than the other students.

"So, why did you keep on scoffing earlier?" He asked.

"I don't know"

"You don't know?" The ravenette looked at the other who shrugged. "Seems to me like something was bothering you"

"Well you should have seen them, all giggling and high fiving all the time"

"Seonghwa and Hongjoong?"

"Yeah... I mean I know I wasn't on their team, but they acted like I wasn't even their friend"

"Mingi, you know you are their friend. Maybe they were just caught in the moment"

"Maybe they acted like that cause they want to be more than friends" Mingi spoke whereas San couldn't help but chuckle slightly.

"Seonghwa and Hongjoong? I seriously doubt that"

"Why? Why are you so sure?"

"Because Seonghwa likes Yeosang"

"I thought so too but lately they haven't been interacting so much"

"Oh, they're progressing" San smirked as Mingi turned towards him leaning closer.

"They are??"

"Remember yesterday when Hwa left?" Mingi nodded.

"Well Yeosang told me that he went over to comfort him and that they ended up holding hands and he even placed his head on his shoulder with Seonghwa gently kissing his head a few times"

"Awww my god this is too cute" Mingi awed as San slapped his head.

"So stop being such a jealous ass and make a move on Hongjoong. You two haven't been interacting that much either you know"

"I know... but he gives me a weird vibe, I don't know. Sometimes I feel like he's not interested"

"I'm sure he is, he's just weird"

"Yeah, I guess he is" The two boys looked around and saw that all the students had left as well as the teacher.

"We should go!"

"Definitely, come on" The boys got up and started walking back.
