Rushia POV:
"... Otsurushia!"
Standing up from my chair, I reached up and stretched with a loud pop. Taking a stride forward, I grabbed the door handle and pulled, opening the door. Walking out of my recording studio, I turned left and started making my way down the hall.
'Marine's stream just ended recently, did it not? Maybe I should see if she wants to go get lunch at the new café that opened nearby.'
Doing a little twirl, I turned around to go the way to Marine's room; I headed over. I was about to knock when suddenly, as if someone had turned on the air conditioning, the temperature dropped by many degrees.
'Neeee! It suddenly became freezing! Did somebody turn on the air-conditioning?... Or? Oh no...'
I ran as fast as I could towards the stairs, pushing the door to the stairwell open and taking the steps 3 at a time, rushi(a)ng down to the main floor. A-Chan was at the receptionist's desk and waved as I ran past; I looked back with a light smile and returned the gesture before throwing open the front doors.
Glancing around fervently as I gulped in large breaths of air, my eyes locked on an older boy with horns and a tail at Coco's side. My instincts as well as, shall I say, my amazing magical aptitude told me that the source of the cold was that boy. Glaring at him, I gathered magical energy into my hand in preparation to eliminate the potential threat. He must have noticed because he instantly fled, leaving his clothes behind? Then I took notice of a nervous Coco and the mumbling wreck of Suisei.
Assuming a much friendlier demeanor, I greeted them, "Ohayo gozaimasu, Coco, Suisei! Futari tomo daijoubu desuka?" (Are you both okay?)
Orvos' POV:
"Ohayo!" Coco responded. Suisei, however, said nothing.
"Go... eto kowai," I mumbled, almost directly into Coco's ear.
"That's most people's consensus, yes. Kusa," she laughed slightly, lightening her mood a bit before directing a question at Rushia, "What makes you ask that?"
"Well, there was that weird man beside you just now and Suisei looks really sad," she took a few steps toward her senpai reaching out to give her a hug. I looked over at Suisei and saw some tears on her cheeks, so I jumped out from Coco's hair and landed on Suisei's shoulder and nuzzled her cheek with my head. This prompted a weak giggle from her as she then grabbed and hugged me.
Rushia, however, backed off, startled at the small lizard that came from her kouhai's hair.
"EEP! Nani? A dragon? Coco you didn't, right?" Rushia glanced frantically towards the shapely dragon. Waiting breathlessly for a response.
"Kusa! No, no, Rushia, he's not my child. Mio found him in the basement of Miko's shrine. We just took him to our house because, you know, dragon stuff," as if remembering something, she let out a small bit of drool before catching it and sucking it back in.
"H-hai. But Suisei, what's wrong?"
Coco placed her hand on Rushia's shoulder and shook her head slightly, causing a wave of recognition to wash over her face. She simply nodded and instead of pressing the matter further, opted to pull out a weird square and tap it into a bunch.
Putting the square back, she asked, "Then who was the person who was standing next to you earlier?"
This time I answered, "Me!"
