Saturday 2nd of November:
Me, Samira and Rowan were getting ready for the Halloween costume party tonight; we had bought either the full costume or accessories from the costume shop last weekend and each of us didn't know what the other was going to wear.
I was in the bathroom putting my little red riding hood outfit together; it had a silky cinched red body-con skirt with black fishnets and shiny red flats to match; I bought a cotton blouse with a red corset detail which was tied at the front with black lace online but I bought the red riding hood cape at the costume shop with the long floral black lace gloves. Honestly, I'm so proud of how the outfit fits together and I feel so good in it, but I was nervous to show it to Samira and Rowan who were waiting outside for me to showcase my outfit. With a deep breath in and out, I twist the bathroom handle and walk out with a twirl to show all sides of my outfit.
"What do you think?" I said awkwardly to them as I see them both gawp with their mouths wide open as their eyes ogled up and down my outfit. Oh no, it's bad, isn't it?
"Dam girl, Caleb will not understand what's hit him" Rowan spoke first with a grin from ear to ear. Phew, at least he approves, but what about Samira? She still looked in utter shock.
"H-how do you make a little red riding hood look so sexy, Lou," she was in absolute awe which means so much to me.
"My turn!" Rowan says as he jumps into the bathroom to change into his outfit; whilst we waited for him Samira dabbed some make-up to my face; I just wanted a bit to highlight my cheeks and my plump lips. By the time she had finished, Rowan had arrived out of the bathroom in the funniest outfit ever.
He had come out dressed up as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective; he had gelled his cotton candy hair up into devil horns at the side and two twists towards the front. It must have taken a lot of hairspray to hold it together. He wore an ugly Hawaiian t-shirt over a thin white vest, and a black leather buckle belt held his baggy red plaid pants up. The black high-tops trainers had the tongue and laces loose, which brought the look together even more.
"Allllllllll-righty then" he said; me and Samira looked at each other and then burst out laughing at his silliness.
"You're a right clown, Rowan, but I love you for it," Samira announced as she went past him into the bathroom to put her outfit on. He looked amazing.
Rowan came over to the vanity table where I was sitting at; over my shoulder. He checked his hair in the mirror. There was an array of perfumes perched on the table in front of us; he picked one up and spritzed himself leaving a fruity fragrance in the air which is the exact kind that I smelt on Caleb. I think?
"What's that perfume called, Rowan?" I asked. Is it Samira's or Rowan's perfume? I'm probably reading into it too much, but there is a correlation with that perfume and Caleb being off with me.
"It's Burberry Her. Smells amazing right!" he says with excitement. He showed me the bottle and spritzed a little on my wrist; I allowed it to dry before inhaling the scent through my nose. Without a doubt, that is the scent; I quickly mask that horrible memory with my scent, which is Daisy Love by Marc Jacobs. Before I could question whose, it was, Samira walked out of the bathroom in her costume.
She was the only one who bought a full-costume at the shop, which was a sexy policewoman. The dress was black with a deep V-neck and had yellow 'Police' print on the short sleeves; because of Samira's height, the dress came really short on her long legs and an adjustable leather waist belt had pink fluffy handcuffs and gun holster attached to it. She wore black thigh-high stiletto heeled leather boots and a police cap over a long blonde wig. The outfit was stunning as always Samira blows us away with how gorgeous she looks.
