8. Tears Shed

Naruto POV

The next few days, I hummed happily as I locked my apartment door and headed out.

As I walked down the village, I noticed Sasuke.

"Hey Sasuke!-" I began, but then got cut off from what I just saw.

I saw Sakura Haruno holding his hand and smiling. Sasuke smiled back, but then noticed me and turned pale.

Sakura then pecked him on the cheek and cuddled his arm. My eyes widened.

"N-Naruto! Wait! T-This isn't what it looks like!" Sasuke began.

I slowly backed away.

Sasuke roughly made Sakura let go of him and started towards me.

I then turned, and ran away, with Sasuke chasing after me.

But I ran even faster until Sasuke gave up chasing me.

I stopped and turned and dashed to alley. I was out of breath, then slid down the wall and put my hands up to my face and starting crying.

"N-Naruto?..." I heard a soft voice.

I sniffled and looked up to see Hinata.

"Oh...Hey Hinata..." I said.

She looked at me with a concerned look "What happened? Why are you crying? Did Sasuke hurt you?"

"I-It's fine... He didn't hurt me..." I said, looking down at the ground.

She then placed her hand on my shoulder "If Sasuke ever hurts you, tell me, and I'll kick his ass. So..."

"So don't cry, everything will be ok"

I wiped my tears with my sleeve and looked at her and smiled while lightly laughing. "I won't anymore"

That was a lie. I didn't want to show Hinata my sadness. I know she's just trying to cheer me up, but I never felt this kind of pain before...

She then nodded and stood up. "Maybe you should go home and rest" she said.

I nodded.

She then gave me a quick nod and walked away.

I then pulled up my knees to my chin. I sighed sadly.

Stupid Teme... Hanging out with that forehead bitch.

I then heard footsteps. I ignored them and stuffed my face into my arms.

"Naruto! Naru-" I heard Sasuke's voice say.

"Leave me alone..." I mumbled.

He sighed "Listen, Naruto, I'm sorry. It's not what it looked like. Sakura just randomly came out of nowhere before you came and grabbed my hand"

"Yeah? Then why did you smile at her?..."

"It was a fake smile to just make her happy so she could stop bugging me" Sasuke replied.

I was quiet for a moment. "Where is she?"

"I was able to get away from her"

I stayed quiet.

"Naruto, listen... I love you more than anything" Sasuke said.

"Even more than ramen?" I asked.

Sasuke chuckled "Yeah... Even more than ramen"

I was quiet then said "I still don't forgive you... I only do a little bit"

Sasuke came closer and patted me on the head. "Please forgive me?"

I shook my head. "No"

"Please?"

"NO"

Sasuke sighed. "Look at me"

"Why?"

"Just do it"

I lifted my face from my arms and looked at him. My eyes were glistening because I still had tears in my eyes.

Sasuke stared at me in awe.

He then leaned forward and kissed me on the cheek. "Forgive me now?"

I shrugged.

Sasuke then lifted me up in his arms.

"Hey! What did you do that for?!" I cried. "Put me down!"

Sasuke smiled "No. I don't think so"

I growled and Sasuke laughed "You're so cute when you're mad"

I ignored him and turned the other way.

Sasuke sighed "Why do you make it so hard for you to be happy..."

I then stopped and thought for a moment.

"You want me to be happy?..." I said.

Sasuke nodded.

I smiled and gave Sasuke a soft kiss on the lips.

Sasuke stared at me. He's usually the one who gives me the kisses.

I gave him my grin and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Mmm...Take me home..." I said.

Sasuke nodded "As you wish, my Queen"

"Wait- Queen? Why Queen?" I questioned him.

"Naruto, that should be the last of your concern." Sasuke sighed.

I shrugged.
