Every day the dog barks.
It barks and barks so loud.
The barks can be heard throughout the neighborhood.
Its barks are a cry of pain.
Its barks are the only sound it makes.
You walk past the dog and hear it fight for his freedom.
Its chains are heard if you walk close enough.
Humans walk past it but no one helps.
The dog is the only voice standing out for his freedom
While his family lies there behind the gate.
