The Progress (Lisa POV)

I never thought, the girl that I had a one night stand with would actually become a really good friend of mine. Though at first I find her kind of annoying since she like to disturb me a lot but then I realised we're actually click. To this day, I still don't understand how I could mistaken her as jennie that night. I know it's weird that we becoming friend after had sex, once, but that's what happening to us. Believe me, there will never be a romantic feeling involve between us, we're just like a tom and jerry character. We constantly teasing and mocking each other whenever we met. Although we're like that, I had to admit rosè is actually a good listener. She knows what's going on with my life and I'm thankful that she tried to cheer me up everytime.

Today rosè and me were having lunch at the mall, somewhere near to my company's building. "Lisa, I think you should just move on from jennie, that girl near to the counter has been constantly checking on you, she's pretty" rosè's voice came in as I was savouring my meal. Since I was curious so I turned my head back just to look at specific person. I was actually stunned. Its jennie. She's still staring at me. And it's the first time I saw her after 5 months. Yes I'm avoiding her on that span of time, I'm too scared to come back to their place. I'm not ready to face her. I just don't want her to hate me. So I'm trying my best to avoid from it to happened. It only took few seconds for me to divert my eyes back to my meal. My heart was actually thumping so hard by her presence. "Its her" I told rosè in my low tone as I play with my foods infront of me. "Who?" she asked confusely. "that girl, she's jennie" I added while looking at rosè weakly. She look surprised by my admission. Her eyes were slightly open wide.

"Lisa you sure she hate you? I mean if she hate you she wouldn't constantly glancing at us" rosè voice came in distracting me. I'm actually feeling nervous since the person that I love is here. "maybe she's just curious since she never saw me with anybody except with her sister" I told. Few moments later I can feel rosè fingers stroking at my back hand on the table. It took me by surprised. I begin to look at her feeling so confused. "Lisa bare with me" she said while showing her flirty smile. Honestly I felt so cringed by her touch and I couldn't take it any longer. So I try to pull it away but she was fast enough to hold it still. "Just endure it for a while" she said while still smiling. There's a sign of warned in her eyes. Her action made me puzzled. I keep watching at her trying to figure out what is actually in her mind. She continue to speak while flaunting a smile at me "In 3..2...1".

"Can we talk?!" I was shocked soon as I heard jennie's loud voice interupting us. She was standing near to our table while looking at me intensely. Her face looks serious. "Um. Yes" I responded. She started to walked away as I begin to follow her from behind. "see you in a bit baby!" rosè's voice were disturbing  which made me turning my head back just to check on her. She was all smiling while waving at me seems to feel satisfied. What exactly she's trying to do?

I keep waiting for jennie to speak as we stands outside of the cafe. My eyes were roaming somewhere else trying to avoid from making an eye contact. But it seems like nothing come out from her mouth. Calmly I started to ask. "What do you want to talk about?" I glance at her but it didn't even past 5 seconds. Her statement about feeling disgusted on my stares stick on my head all the time. It makes me paranoid. "Well.. Umm.. I..a.. I.. Forgot to bring my purse! lend me a cash" she was stuttering as she speak. And her voice sounds so breathy. I'm doubting if this is what she really want to talk about. But I let it slide. "How much do you need?" I asked softly as I took out my wallet in my pocket, trying to resist myself from looking at her. "Umm. $20" she answered. Soon I hand her the money and I was stunned as I accidently saw a familiar necklace on her. Originally, it was belong to me but I gave it to her back then when she's unwell. Its like my lucky charm. And it indeed bring luck since she got back her memories after keeping it. Although I got erased from her mind. But yeah atleast she's normal. Soon as I about to walk away, her voice came interupting me. "Is she your girlfriend?" I was actually surprised that she asked.

I was froze as I look into her eyes. Somehow I saw my jennie in her stares. She has this soft stares just like the old jennie. My heart was beating so fast as we keep looking at each other. A moment later I came back to my sense. "Don't mind her, she's just a friend who like to tease me all the time" I answered. I don't know why I need to explained it to her. Soon I walked away heading back to my seat. "So?" Rosè asked. She seems so curious that she keep waiting for me to speak.

"Nothing she just want to borrow some money" I told. "Lisa. I can smell jealousy you know" she responded while smiling. It seems like she was having fun teasing me and jennie.
