As Saturday afternoon flew by, Imogen and Haruka continued to explore the town around them. While the two girls were walking the streets, Imogen eventually decided out of the blue that she was going to switch into a tour guide persona. She had begun pointing out the most random things on the streets—such as garbage cans and lampposts—and creating made-up stories about them off the top of her head.

"This alley here," Imogen spoke in her best tour guide voice, pointing to a dark alley they were passing. "This is the place in which James Bond killed Mario using Darth Vader's lightsaber. Very tragic day for the Nintendo star system." She chuckled under her breath at her own silly joke.

Haruka laughed. "Oh, he wasn't killed by, uhm..." She paused, trying to recollect the name of the villian. "Browser? What was his name?"

"That's what everybody thought," Imogen replied, a smile on her face. "But Mario faked his own death in Bowser's castle until he could escape the video game, and THEN he was killed by Bond."

"Tragic, really. He finally escaped only for everything to end," Haruka said in a slightly over dramatic and saddened tone of voice.

"No-one knows how Bond got ahold of the lightsaber," Imogen spoke. "Maybe he made a deal with Vader during the fandom collision of 1984."

"There was a fandom collision?" Haruka questioned.

Imogen nodded and continued her bit. "Certain characters from fandoms were coming into real life. Some people believe it was all just a cosplay, but nobody really knows for sure."

"So you believe?" Haruka giggled. "Only way that could happen is if some girl made a wish to a mysterious white cat."

"Who knows," Imogen laughed. "Maybe someone DID use that as a wish. Pretty silly wish, though."

"I suppose so. If a girl were to do that, she'd have to be pretty young." Haruka paused for a moment before adding, "Say, how young can magical girls be anyway?"

"I made my contract when I was fifteen or so, but I've heard of some magical girls even younger than that." Imogen said, dropping the tour guide persona at the question. "I think it's around the time ya' hit puberty is when you're eligible for a contract. Could be wrong though."

Haruka stopped walking. "I wonder why that is. Perhaps children are too weak to be able to fight and handle witches. How old do magical girls come?" she asked, clueless, seeing as Imogen was the only other magical girl besides herself that she'd ever known.

"Well," Imogen mused, rubbing her chin in thought. "Back in 'Stralia, I ran into one who looked to be about eighteen. I guess they get contracted in their teen years, and keep fightin' witches until they end up dyin'."

"I suppose they wouldn't usually go past their thirties, since it is a dangerous job after all," Haruka thought aloud, unsure if this was really the case or not.

"Makes sense," Imogen replied. "I can't see a sixty-year-old magical girl trying to make her way through a labyrinth. Ya' have to be able to handle mass amounts of adventure and stuff, so your assumption is prolly 'bout right."
