I was sitting on the swing at the park watching all the boys play Basket Ball. I noticed that Andrew had joined them on the ball court. See Andrew is my Bestfriend Tay's Brother. And weird thing is we don't get along at all. He hates me around his friends and is all flirty with me when we're alone. I just don't understand him. One minute he likes me and the next he hates me ! It's not right -_-. I snapped out of my little spell when my phone vibrated in my pocket causing me to jump. I then heard to boys laughing. I assumed it was at me so I just looked down at my Phone reading the message from Tay. ' Heyyy :) wanna come over for a new years Sleep over ? ' I texted back saying yes I would I just had to get my stuff. I got off the swing and started walking home. I had to walk by the ball court and I felt all the boys eyes on me. I turned around to see them all lookin at me even Andrew. Then they all started nudging him and laughing. I turned back around confused as to why Andrews face went red when they nudged him. He couldn't like me could he ? No, no way he just can't he hates me. I got home and packed my bag and told my mom I was gonna be at Tays. I walked across the street and knocked. Tay answered the door and squealed hugging me.
Tay: this New Years is going to be amazing!
Me: yes it sure is !! :)
Tay: you don't even Know Lyss !!
Me: what ?
Tay: I can't say but I'm sure you'll love it ;)
Me: ugh ! You know I hate when you do that !
Tay: teheheh :) sooooo what do you want to do for like 3 hours until the party ?
Me: we could watch Disney ..
Tay: okay
We went to her room and turned on Disney.
After watching Disney for about an hour or Two there was a knock on Tays door. I looked at her and went to open the door. Only to come face to face with Andrew. I heard Tay giggle. I turned around and looked at her questioningly. She just smiled and shrugged it off. I let Andrew in.
Andrew: uh Tay we need to talk .. In private ...
Tay: okay big brother :) be right back Lyss ;)
They walked right outside of the room. Hmmmm I wonder what there saying. I put my ear up to the door.
Andrew: how the hell am I going to tell Alyssa that she means everything to me when I know she hates me! And I treat her like crap! Tay what am I supposed to do ?
Tay: look Andrew I know for a FACT that Tay doesn't hate you but you have to tell her tonight it's perfect ! You can be her first boyfriend ! And it's romantic you could kiss her when the ball drops ! It's perfect ! You just need to be brave !
Andrew: Thanks sis Ill tell her at the party !
I backed away from the door and my jaw dropped. Andrew liked me ? What ! This is just ... How why ?
I heard the door open.
Tay: I so know you was listening to us !
Me: how- I mean what ?!? Nuh uhhhh
Tay: yes you was ! Don't lie to me girl !
Me: fine okay I was listening ! ..... How long Has he liked me ?
Tay: I don't really know .. But I do know that he reallllly likes you Lyss. It might now seem like it but he does. He's always asking me about you.
Me: oh .. Really ? Why does he treat me like crap then Tay?
Tay: I don't know I just .. You'll have to ask him .
Me: when ?
Tay: well it's 10:30 now so go talk to him in his room ! I'm gonna invite my boyfriend Jake over ;)
Me: okay ! I will. But this better end well !
I walked over to Andrews room and knocked on the door. I heard his footsteps and he opened the door. His eyes went wide.
Andrew: yes Alyssa what do you need ?
Me: Tay told me to come over here she's gonna invite Jake over
Andrew: well I guess nows better then ever to tell you.
Me: what ?
Andrew: come in and sit on the bed with me !
Me: okay..
I went over to the bed and sat down next to him. He grabbed both of my hands and looked me in the eyes , his face turning a scarlet red. I smiled . He took a deep breath and closed his eyes slowly and then opening them again.
Andrew: okay Alyssa, I know you won't believe me but I think I'm in love with you. I know I'm a total jerk to you but I can't think or speak right when Im with you ! You make me weak but strong at the same time. It's hard to explain. I just need one chance Lyss just one and I can show you that I truly am in love with you.
I just sat there totally shocked at why he had just told me. I mean yes I already knew he liked me but ! He just the way he put it. I looked at him to see his smile slowly fading.
Andrew: okay I get it you don't like me back -
Me: no Andrew I don't like you !! ..... I - I love you too.
He looked at me in shock and I smiled and hugged him.
I heard his door open and I pulled away and looked over to see Tay with a Mistletoe in her hand holding it above us.
Tay: come on lovers kiss !!
Me: Christmas is over Tay.
Andrew cupped my cheeks and kissed me. Our lips moved in sync . My hands found their way to his neck and I pulled him closer. I heard Tay giggle and walk out. Andrew pulled back and set our foreheads together and smiled widely.
Andrew: Alyssa will you be my girl ?
Me: yes Andrew !
He smiled and we kissed again. I was beginning to think that maybe he wasn't so bad after all.
