Levi grabs his briefcase and some papers on his desk, and then proceeds out the door. I was about to leave before him, but I couldn't think of anything to say, but he left now, so I guess I have no reason to worry. When he walked out though, my heart sank. I think some part of me wanted him to say something stupid before we left.

"Eren?" I jump a little at his sudden reappearance. "Oh. Yes?" He holds my hand and walks out the door again, but this time, I'm going with him. It was gloomy when we got outside, thunder and lightning, so we stood under a ledge to keep us from getting soaked. We haven't said a word since he started holding my hand. He's treating me like we're a couple but I don't understand what his reason was for causing all this trouble.

As if he could read me, he asks, "Do you remember what you said to me when I used to babysit you?" There he goes again with that. It seemed so important to him, yet I don't know what he's talking about at all. "Sorry, I don't." He sighs and gets his car keys out. He's leaving. Just like that? "What did I say?" Levi turns in a circle to locate his car from where we are standing. "It's not important if you can't remember." He starts to walk towards his car, but out of frustration, I follow him. "You're an idiot if you expect me to remember something from when I was a child! You are frustrating, old man. I was a kid, how on earth could I remember anything?" I thought he'd call me a brat and get into his car, but he didn't. He stopped walking, turned to me, and shrugged. "I thought you'd be smart, but you're just an idiot, but clearly this is important to you if you remember it for some odd reason and decided that was an excuse to interact with me like we did in class. So let me hear it, what did I say?"

"Years ago, when I was fifteen and you were about ten, I tried to get people to let me babysit their kids, but no one really needed a babysitter, but I got lucky that your parents were so protective that they needed me to watch you often, even though you weren't too young."

The doorbell rang, but it was raining much too hard for anyone to be outside for any reason. Eren's mother opened the door to see Levi all soaked. At the time, Levi was in his last few years of high school, and Eren was still a child. "Levi, I'm so glad you came, but I'm sorry that we made you get soaked. Do you want to use the shower upstairs?" Levi smiled from the mother's kind offer.  "Yes, thank you. Where is he?" Carla giggled. "He's upstairs waiting for you to play. Thank you again, Levi, we'll be back around midnight." The mother left with the father so Levi proceeded upstairs to take a shower. Levi brought his extra clothing since he knew that it might rain. "Eren, are you up there?" Levi said as he went up the stairs. Little Eren came running out from his room. His short legs moving as fast as they could.

"Levi!" Eren jumped onto Levi. "Levi, your clothes are wet."
"Yeah, it rained, but your mom is letting me use your shower."
Eren nodded and then gasped with a huge smile.
"Let's take a bath together!" Who could deny his cute voice and enthusiastic smile? Levi picked him up. Levi sighed, not really wanting to do this because he found it odd, but to cheer him up, he said, "Alright, but I'm not getting in." He went into the bathroom. Once they were in the bath. Eren started playing with the bubbles that Levi was nice enough to add.

"Levi?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you!" Levi chuckled and shrugged. "I love you too, then." Eren blushed. "Really?!" Levi nodded.
"Can I be your date?"
"My date?"
Levi thought for a moment.
"Oh, I get it." Levi laughed.
"Eren, you are much too young to say that. Wouldn't you prefer a nice princess?"
"Aww...but I love Levi." After a moment of silence Eren said, "Wait for me, don't get older." Levi though it was strange and funny how naive Eren was, but it was also cute. He just hoped his parents wouldn't get the wrong idea out of a small child's thoughts, but suddenly, he said, "Okay, I'll wait. I won't get older." But Eren was already focusing on something else. "Levi! The bubbles." He said before putting them all over the side of Levi's face.

I roll my eyes, I was a kid, a cringey one in fact. But it's strange. My chest feels weird, I really can't take it. "Look, I was a child, I didn't know what I was talking about. You really can't hold me accountable for something I said when I was that young. You couldn't possibly have been dwelling on this for that long." Levi nodded.

"Yeah, I didn't. Do you think I'm a creep?"

"What the hell do you think?!" He smiles at me though, and walks closer. "I hadn't realized it was you until I saw your full name on the attendance sheet, only then did I realize that you're so damn cute, so why not? I had an excuse to get to you, and now I have you."

"I think that was a shitty excuse, and you don't have me. We're nothing more than-"

"Eren." A female's voice interrupted me. A very familiar one. I turn to Mikasa. "Eren. You've been gone for so long. I was worried. Let's go." She grabs onto me and we walk away from Levi. We look so stupid because we're all soaking wet. "Goodbye, Mr. Rivaille," I say to him. "Remember what we talked about Eren." Levi finally gets into his car and drives away. I was a little upset to see him turn away, annoyingly, I kinda feel weird now that he's finally gone. Mikasa pulls at my shirt and asks, "What is he talking about?" I shrug. "I dunno." But once I said that, she visibly got very upset. "You're lying to me. I can tell when you lie to me. What were you doing since school ended today?" I frown. "It doesn't concern you. You always do this. You worry about things that don't involve you, just leave me alone sometimes." She frowns as well and marches off without me, but I already feel terrible. I shouldn't have called her out like that, she means well, she always does, but now she's suspicious. I'll make sure no one finds out, none of my friends, none of my family.
