The Dragon And The Maiden

The maiden sat in a patch of grass in her mother's garden and smiled softly as she read a story. It was a beautiful warm sunny day - her father was in his office as usual ,and her mama was in her bedroom cleaning off some dust on there furniture. The maiden's name was lucy heartfilia ,her papa is jude heartfilia and her mama is layla heartfilia. They were a wealthy family.
One of the wealthiest family's around the country...they lived in a beautiful mansion - her life was alright..she did wish her papa wasn't so focused on his work, he normally cares more about the family business then his wife and daughter.

As the maiden sat in the garden her name was called "mrs heartfilia your father would like to speak with you,,
She stood up and smiled at hef knight.
"Tell him i'll be in his office in a few moment's loke,, he nodded and walked off - the maiden walked inside and put her book away ,she walked down the hallway towards her father's office.
Once the made it to the office she knocked on his doors..."come in,,
She walked in and the doors closed behind her - "you needed to speak with me papa?, he nodded "come sit, I have something important to discuss with you about,, she sat down in one of the chairs that sat infront of judes desk

"Now..tonight we will have a ball ,alot of people will be coming...but there's a certain person that's important that will also be atending the ball tonight,,
The maiden sat there with a confused look on her face "and whom is this person??,, "The dragon king Natsu Dragneel,, her eyes grew wide with fear - how could he let him here ? All dragon's are monsters..."w-why did you invite him if I may ask papa?,,
"Well this will be a celebration for you and his engagement,, she froze in place
And screamed in his face. "W-what but papa!,, he sighed and looked down at some papers. "This will be good for all of us - dragon's and humans becoming allies and won't be at war anylonger no children woman or men would die from the hands of these creatures,, I looked down. "W-what if he -,, "The king won't harm you dear ,we made a deal for that. But you will have his children plus I would like to be a grandfather...,,

"...but papa why did he pick our family?? Why didn't he jus-,, he looked at me "Because our name is well known and his seen you before in town. And took a liking to you,, the maiden sat back down she was scared ,sad ,angry ,just emotional...
"When's the ball tonight papa..,, "it's going to be around 5 the king is coming around 7..,, she stood up "im going to my room..I need sometime alone,, the maiden left her father's office once she made it into her room she fell face flat into her pillow and cried..a few hours passes she was speaking with a few of her friends that came to the ball ,they were worried about her. She was scared and nervous to meet the king..

She was now with her mama ,speaking with some of her friends - suddenly the room got quite. Lucy didn't know why until she looked at the entrance..to spot her soon to be husband ,his eye's locked onto hers. But the maiden looked away quickly she felt a palm on her shoulder she knew it was her mother "everything will be alright dear..,, everything wen't back to normal. She did feel like someone was looking at her from a far.. "mama where's papa I haven't seen him yet,,
"His here just talking to his business partners,, I looked away from my mother to see him and the king speaking to one another..

"Mama..im going to go get some freash air..,, she understood and me her go out into the garden - I sighed softly..
This is just so ... upsetting for me ,why does it have to be me? I still can't believe this is happening i'd rather fall in love ,not to be forced to love someone I looked up at the night sky as the breeze flew through my hair.
I heard footsteps from behind me...huh"It's a wonderful night isn't it?,, on the corner of my eye I saw it was..the king I stayed silent by nodded he stood next to me - I looked away.

"I assume your father informed you on why im here correct?,, from my surprise he had a grip on my chin - he made me look into his eye's. "Y-yes..,,
He smirked at the answer, "that's good that he did...,, I noticed he looked down at my lips..the king brought his face closer to mine - to my surprise...he kissed me ,I pushed him off of me..
And walked back into the mansion
A tear wen't down my face but I wiped it away before anyone noticed a few hours have passed I waa speaking with a dear friend of mine ,before I saw papa at the middle of the room he gathered everyone's attention the king was next to him...his eye's locked onto mine I quickly looked away.

"Im happy I have all of your attention now..ahem I have something important to tell you all ,and thus this is the reason I invited you all here today to celebrate this wonderful occasion,,My father looked over at me and made and gave me a look to go next to him. Once I wen't next to my father he smiled.. "humans and dragons will not be in war anylonger, thus this is because we have made an arrangement to my daughter and king natsu dragneel to be wed in three weeks!,, everyone cheered and laughed in joy - I had my head down ... my bangs covered my eye's.

People have left , it was now just me papa mama and the king..."lucy come here please,, I walked over to papa
To see what he needed "I wanted to let you know that you and natsu will be sleeping in the same bed tonight,, the king gave me a smirk I gritted my teeth together.. "fine but - if he even dare trys to touch me I will have Aquarius take him out of my room papa..and if she'd like to break his neck in half she can,, "lucy!,, "hmp!,, I stormed off...

As I was getting ready for bed I yawned as finished putting on my nightgown all of a sudden my bedroom door opened I looked to see whom it was ... and to my guess it was the king.
I simply ignored him as I was untying my hair. "My my...you look good in that night gown sweetheart ~,, I continued to ignore him and placed my hair tie on my nightstand. All of a sudden I felt him grab my chin he forced me to face him - "your really starting to piss me off...,, "and your starting to annoy me..,, he growled with anger.

" watch it blondie , you wouldn't wan't to piss me off..,, I only huffed in anger and pushed him away then I just got into my covers. Why can't my world just end now?.... I closed my eye's as I cried quietly into my pillow.
