The former lovers left the restaurant a few minutes before 3 in the afternoon. The bachelor is now the one seated at the driver's seat while Ye Jin is busy taking photos hoping to capture and give justice to the breathtaking scenery that she is witnessing.

"Do you remember the first time we went on a trip to Jeju?"

How could he ever forget that?

"Abeoji scared the hell out of me before I could even say a word and then he gave me a long list of reminders before we left and then when we arrived he called me up for other reminders and told me to make sure that you enjoy. Honestly, I thought I might wet my pants when he uses that scary side of him while talking to me."

His reply made Ye Jin laugh uncontrollably. Her laughter was music to his ears. It was a beautiful symphony that he would never get tired of hearing.

"But through it all, I know that Appa loved you. He told me to not tell you this but he always enjoys your company. He told me one time that he felt that like he was a young man again when you guys played golf and basketball. He always told me that you were a good man."

"Please don't make me cry while I'm driving."

His words renewed the laughter that echoed inside the car not so long ago. After that bout of laughter, Ye Jin yawned and rested her back against the leather seat. She glanced at the man seating in the driver's seat whose eyes are fixated on the road.

"Bin," She called his name softly. The bachelor stole a sideward glance before turning his attention back in the road. "I'm gonna doze off for a few minutes. Will you be okay?"

"I'll be fine."

The chairwoman closed her eyes when she heard his reply and adjusted her position. He reached for the chair recliner button on the dashboard with his right hand to adjust Ye Jin's seat so that she could sit comfortably.

It took them thirty minutes to reach Monaco. The drive was smooth and they got safely without any delay. Bin just showed their passports as identification before they entered Monaco.

He maneuvered the car towards the path leading to Jardin Exotique de Monaco. The car went on a steeper path than usual because the garden is located on a cliffside and at sunset a lot of people gather by the edge to witness the vibrant red-orange combination painting the skies of the French Riviera. It also offers a breathtaking view of the Principality of Monaco.

The clock on the dashboard of the car displayed 3:30 pm when Bin had parked the car safely near the edge. It was more or less than an hour before sunset but he cannot bring himself to wake the angel sleeping on the shotgun seat. A few strands of her jet black locks fell on her face which he carefully brushed to the side of her face so as not to wake his companion.

As he sat there, he felt a sudden rush of emotions like a brewing storm in the middle of fine weather. He wanted to tell her the truth so badly because he cannot bear prolonging the pain that is lingering in the chambers of her heart. He wants her to be free of the past because only then will he be able to make peace with it.

The chairwoman slowly stirred from her slumber after a few minutes. She turned to her left before opening her eyes and the first thing that she saw is the gorgeous face of her companion. In their proximity, she could see perfectly his pointed nose, hooded eyes, and plump lips.

He stared at her wistfully before he spoke softly, "Did you have a good nap?"

Still traversing the border of asleep and waking up, the chairwoman sweetly smiled before nodding her head.
