Rʏᴜᴜ Tᴀᴋᴇᴏ

"Yashiro!! Yashiro! Yash-" Hanako chirped as he opened the bathroom door. He found Yashiro sleeping on the window sill, head against the tainted glass. Usually, he would have poked her awake to clean his 'prestigious' bathrooms but he decided to let her off this time. Instead he sat behind her and started to plait her hair.

'Its soft.' He thought as he folded over a streak of her hair.

"I can save you Yashiro, but to take away your youth so soon.. I can't bring myself to do it again. Not to you especially". He had talked to

Nene opened her eyes.. "Save me from what?"

"WAA! Y-YASHIRO- I THOUGHT YOU WERE ASLEEP!"

She rolled her eyes and sat up straight as he tied a hair tie at the tip of her hair.

"I was but I heard you come in so yea, so hanako save me from what?"

The ghost panicked.

"Save you from those mokee bastards"

Yashiro laughed and stretched her arms a bit.

"Have you given in the camp permission slip in yet?" The ghost asked, trying to change the conversation.

"Yea, me, aoi and minamoto went this morning actually."

Hanako's eyes light up, he stood up and grabbed Nene's hands; looking into Yashiro's eyes. No doubt at all, Nene felt butterflies in her stomach.

"Yashiro Nene, would you please..,"

Her heart skipped a beat. 'Is he going to confess'..

"clean my bathrooms even during your school camp."

Yashiro slapped Hanako around the cheeks and pouted. "You stupid ghost! I thought you were gonna confess to me!"

Hanako smirked whilst caressing his red cheek.

Has she had any sudden things happening to her recently?

He remembered what Tsuchigomori had said to him the other day and his face fell back to normal.

Hanako hesitated for a moment, trying to figure out the right moment to ask.

"H-hey Nene, have you had any..erm.. you know.. weird sudden things happening to you lately " Hanako asked, trying his hardest not to make it sound weird.

Nene flinched at the question. She looked as if she didn't want to answer it.

"I mean- I have had a few random times where my blood turns cold and a strange feeling that something was watching me, a bit like the grim reaper," The girl bit her lip and picked up her bag. "I think im going to head home now. Bye Hanako!"

Hanako watched her leave and he sat upon his window sill again.

I have a bad feeling about this school camp..

Later that day~

The two girls, Aoi and Nene, sat in Yashiro's room, looking through a pile of old stuff.

"Hey Nene, I found our class photo from our first year at high school"

The two girls started at the image in the glass frame, trying to figure out who was who. "Oh thats me- with daikon legs-" Nene sulked as continued to look through some old books.

"I don't recognise this person"

Yashiro looked at the boy at the back of the class. He had blonde hair and was quite tall with a single stud earring in his ear. It suddenly came to her.

"Isnt that Ryuu Takeo! He disappeared during first year and apparently he just suddenly enrolled to another school"

"Ahh, yes, all the girls used to fall head over heels for him"

"A total prince charming~" Nene dreamt as she imagined him falling out of the sky.

She snapped back to reality and placed the old photo frame onto her shelf.

"Shall we go and try that new cafe that opened down the road?" Yashiro suggested as she pulled on a blue hoodie.

"Yes! I heard they have amazing cheesecakes"

The girls shoged the old boxes aside, put on their boots and jackets and headed down to the cafe, forgetting all about Ryuu..

"Tick Tock Number 7, there's only a matter of time before 'he' is here"

Hanako stood in a dark room. Cackling voices could be heard in every direction.

"Only a matter of time" they chimed.

Hanako sighed as he lowered his cap.
"Is there a way to change her fate without turning her into a school wonder?".

The voices changed, "Find the grim reapers assistant , find him and kill him"

"Who is he? Is he even at this scho-" before he could finish, the room faded back to a normal classroom, leaving hanako to himself again.

"Good for nothing spirits" he murmered kicking a near-by desk, "could it be someone from Hiritoshi High School?"
