Chapter - 6

"harry, you can wait inside for him"

"no mar, its been a month I want to greet him at the door, he'd love that," Harry said excitedly, his face was lit up instantly with a big grin, actually from this morning.

"yes baby, at least sit on the couch and look out the door"

"noo mar it's okay you go set the snack plate for him, he said he misses your cooking, " he speaks not even looking at Mariya, she shakes her head with a smirk and disappeared into the kitchen.

Harry's mother was getting ready to go do her usual chores of the day obviously her work at the office. When she gets down to collect her belongings to left for work, she notices harry at the doorstep looking out the main gate. He was on the ball of his foot moving left to right and checking his phone from time to time.

"Mariya what's up with him," she nods towards harry, asked Mariya while she handover her packed lunch bag.

"oh hi, he is waiting for nia-" they were cut off by the scream from harry.

"Niiii!" the two ladies reach the door quickly and find that harry in the air spinning and Niall's the one hugging harry tight as he could and spinning him, they can hear their loud laughter. The sight was more pleasant to their eyes seeing their children's happy faces.

And the two young guys were staying for a minute outside hugging and mumbling miss you's.

"miss you too haz," nail said sincerely with a big grin on his face. Harry buried his face on the crook of his neck and shaking his head right to left whining something, that Niall cannot able to hear.

"har, babe show me that baby face, I want to check if have you sprouted any facial hair on that pretty face" he tries to loosen up the emotional longing meet and try to make harry laugh. he hears harry's little giggles and felt he presses his face even more on his shoulder. few seconds after standing in the same position harry slowly pulls away from Niall's neck and looks at him with puppy eyes with traces of tears welled up at the end of his eyes.

"aww baby don't cry, I'm here," he said and wipes his eyes a little and he hears harry's muffled 'i missed you so much' and chuckles at the little boy in his arms. they are almost the same age as harry's just a few months younger than him. But Harry seems to have stopped growing up with him after the age of 13, and now he sees 14-year-old Harry, who is a little grown up and knows nothing about the outside world, who still carries with him the innocence he had at the age of 12. He is more than a best friend to him, more like a little brother to him, he swears in his mind that he won't let harry hurt at any cost. Despite this distant relationship with him, he has unknowingly taken care and responsibility to protect his innocence.

Their loving moment was interpreted by harrys mother, "Niall, hey darling, how're you doing? long time no see" she smiles and stands beside them and pats harry shoulder softly. Niall and Harry pull away from each other and Niall goes to give a hug to Anne which he gets returns.

"honey your father will be here anytime, so can you please take all inside," she says softly to harry, knowing Des will not like to see harry hugging another guy outside of his house. So Mariya escorted them to the living room and treat Niall with homemade chocolate cookies and much more snacks and starters.

"uh, Lissie can you please take all these to my room" he requested politely to one of their maids.

"bye Harry, Niall will see you two around and Niall Mariya made you a bone appetite enjoy your food " she gave him a warm smile and left the house.

"come let's go upstairs" harry drags Niall into his bedroom, don't want to waste any time Niall being home.

once they reached harry's bedroom Niall plops down on the bed and supports his head on his head.
