It was passed 6 but the bus is still not running. I have been waiting for almost 1 hour now.
Gaano katagal pa kaya akong tutunganga dito. Like hell! I'm bored but still shocked to all that had happened.
"Hi Miss, newbie?"
A guy with a long blonde hair sits in front of me. He's cute. Well more like pretty. Prettier than me. Seriously!
"Um. Actually yes. If you don't mind, can I ask you something?"
Kinapalan ko na mukha ko dahil malapit na mapanis laway ko sa pagtunganga.
"Anything. Except for a date."
Kaloka si kuya! First meeting mag-aaya ng date? That is so not me.
"Okay. I wanna ask about this bus."
"Hmm.."
Tumango naman siya so I continue.
"Well first, where do the people came from? Or rather how do they--we-- get in here? How long is this bus? Where is the driver? Where are we going? What is this----"
"Hephephep... One question at a time please. Mahina ang kalaban."
Putakte! Nagtatagalog naman pala si kuya eh. Kaso slang nga lang.
"Okay. Let me guess. You don't know why you're here."
Tumango nalang ako as a response. Am I that obvious? Should I have to ask myself? Ofcourse I look ignorant.
Hayst! Naalala ko nanaman tuloy yung coldish guy kanina. Bad trip!
" That's a problem. You need to start from the very beginning. Okay! Ahhmmm... Do you have the book?"
Napaisip naman ako sa tanong niya. Book? I have a lot of books!
"What book?"
"The book with the logo of our school."
Kumunot lang yung noo ko sa sinabi niya. I don't have a book with a logo of a school. I don't even know the logo of the school!
Napansin niya naman na wala akong idea sa sinasabi niya.
"Huy! What are you doing?"
Nagulat ako nung bigla niyang kinuha yung bag ko and started looking for something.
"Woah! Hindi akin yan! Promise!"
San galing yung kakaibang aklat na yun? Wow! Paano ako magkakaroon ng fairytale book sa bag ko. I don't even watch disney. And I'm sure wala akong kinukuha kahit kanino.
Wait! Baka naman si Auntie yung naglagay. Possible!
"This is what I am talking about."
He said. I just nod.
" What's special with you?"
"Huh?"
Ano daw? Special? Punch line ba to?
"Okay gets ko na! First, you have to believe the impossible. Everything can seems to be out of reality but it is the reality. Science can't even explain the reason why, yet we use science to enhance ourselves. This is our school."
Naloka naman daw ako. Ano raw? I don't even get to understand anything sa sinabi nya!
"Look. As the time pass by you'll get to understand. I know it will be difficult since I guess your parents wanted you to have a normal life."
" I guess so."
Sa wakas! I finally found my tongue to speak.
He smiled and I found myself mesmerized. He's like an angel in disguise.
