Huening Kai was screaming into his pillow when Soobin entered his room.

"Oh, look how the tables have turned," He said.

Kai looked up at him and threw the pillow in his direction. It went flying through the air, but Soobin managed to step to the side just in time, and instead of hitting him, the pillow hit Kai's desk, knocking over a large textbook that had been dangling off the edge.

It was loud as it hit the floor and probably woke up Huening Kai's parents and sisters. Luckily, no one came to yell at them and demand to know what Soobin was doing there at 3:00 in the morning, so neither paid it any mind.

"Shut the fuck up," Kai muttered, and Soobin smiled.

"Never."

"That's it, I'm telling Yeonjun about your crush," Kai said, throwing his hands in the air dramatically. He grabbed his phone, unlocking it, and opening up his private chat with Yeonjun.

Soobin gasped, jumping onto the bed to tackle the phone out of Huening Kai's grip. He pinned Kai to the bed, holding him down as he tried to rip the phone out of the younger's hands.

Unfortunately for Soobin, Kai was an annoying brat who loved to annoy him in every way possible, and that included teasing him about his (definitely nonexistent, thank you very much) crush on Yeonjun. It also meant that he would not give up until he got his way, which meant that nearly every argument with the two friends ended with a triumphant Huening Kai and a defeated Soobin.

Sometimes Soobin very much regretted his choice to become friends with the younger. He often wondered why he decided it would be a good idea to trust Huening Kai and tell him things when it was clear that Kai was not the best at keeping secrets.

"Fine, fine, I'll stop," Kai gasped, "Just get off me, old man."

Soobin glared at Kai as he slowly got to his feet, watching the younger male like a hawk, just in case.

When Kai unwillingly put his phone aside, leaving it to rest on his bed while he and Soobin went down to the kitchen to get snacks, he failed to notice the screen lighting up with the familiar glow or the ping of the notification as it came through.
