Sewer Trouble

L/w is Leo's wife
R/w is Raph's wife
D/w is Donnie's wife
M/w is Mikeys wife

It's about a month after the wedding.

L/w's point of view

I sighed as lightening struck.
"Are you sure we should be up here Donnie?" I asked looking down from the tower.
I looked over at Donnie. He didn't respond.
"Donnie." I said louder.
"Hm? What? Oh yeah. We should be fine." He spoke looking up from his device.
I kind of rolled my eyes and kept looking around for mutagen.
Apparently his device says it's on this tower.
I groaned feeling rain drops.
"Donnie." I hollered not amused with this.
"I know. I know." He shouted as thunder struck.

It suddenly started to down pour.
Great.
I went to step down off the side of the tower and slipped.
I braced myself for impact but I never hit the ground.
I felt strong arms and knew exactly whose they were.
"Jesus Y/n. Are you okay?"
I heard Leo ask as he walked under the tower.
I nodded as he set me down.
I nodded as I started pulling my now wet hair back.
"Thanks for the save babe." I smiled.
He smiled back and then turned back to look at the pouring rain.

Soon enough everyone quickly made their way back to us.
"We got to get back to the lair." Donnie spoke as he hit his devices.
"Everything is offline." He spoke in slightly panic.
"What about the tunnel?" M/w spoke. "Shit." Leo spoke.
I shivered slightly as the wind blew.
"How far away is that tunnel Donnie?" Raph asked as he held his arm over R/w.
"It's 32 miles away. Which gives us a *starts doing calculations in his head* .."

No point of view

"Donnie." Raph spoke annoyed. "15 minutes. But we gotta hurry." He shouted.
Everyone nodded and quickly took off.
The rain was so thick it was hard to see in anything.

Everyone made their way down the side of the building carefully but quickly.
Donnie leaned down lifting up the sewer lid.
L/w was the first to make her way down the ladder. It was a different entrance than everyone was used to.
But the rain was so hard to see through they had no idea.
Then Mikey.
Then D/w, Raph, Leo, R/w.
M/w waiting patiently for them to move down as Donnie held the lid.

L/w jumped off the ladder hitting the ground.
She stepped a little ways as Mikey jumped down.
He grunted slightly as he stood up and shook off a little.
"Hurry guys." Donnie shouted below. "10 minutes."

L/w rubbed her arms slightly as D/w jumped down.
"I don't remember this way to the house." D/w spoke as she looked around. L/w looked around to. "Yeah me either." Mikey spoke slightly confused.

Leo's point of view

I sighed as we got closer to the bottom.
I looked at the sewer wall.
I don't see any of the marks I made anywhere.

I made it a point to mark every known entrance to the lair. Mostly to help the girls.
I stopped and looked around.
The rain made it hard to see which didn't help either.
Once we got closer to the ground.
I looked behind me and saw Y/n D/w and Mikey standing a little ways from the ladder.

I looked down towards Raph.
A sudden gushing noise made me snap my head towards the end of the tunnel.
Suddenly a gush of water rolled through.
Before anything was said.
It hit us like a freight train.

"Y/n!" I yelled out seeing the water gushing quickly.
I looked down to see Raph struggling to hang on.
I leaned down and gave a hand as the water kept rising.
I grunted as I pulled him up.
We both quickly started climbing back up the later.
"Go go go!" I yelled slightly making R/w climb out of the sewer quickly.
"What's going on?" Donnie yelled slightly as I pulled Raph out of the water.
We both grunted slightly.
"Sewer flooded." I yelled slightly as I grabbed my head nervously.
"Where's D/w? She was down there." Donnie spoke in panic. "So was Mikey." M/w spoke in a worried tone.
"So was Y/n." I responded as I rubbed my face.
"We're do the tunnels lead to?" R/w asked as the thunder hit loudly.
"Um. Most of the tunnels are dead ends. The main one leads to the river miles outside of town." He spoke.
Before anything was said. M/w quickly jumped down the sewer.
"M/w!" Raph and R/w yelled.
That's when they all noticed the water was gone.
