As soon as her body fell limp, I melted her ice shield and knelt next to her.
"Cassian, you didn't need to knock her out, she was just scared" I snapped.
"She set the room on fire!" he snapped back.
I quickly healed her then lay her on a sofa, nothing had burned thankfully.
"Why didn't the ash wood stop her fire?" Mor asked.
"Because her weakness is iron." Amren replied, reclining in an armchair.
"How did you know who her parents were?" I asked.
"Because they were real pains in my ass." Amren replied.
Rhys clasped rings on iron around her wrists, using magic to shrink them to her size.
"Rhys, you can't just strip her of her powers." I said, arms crossed, I felt for the girl, I felt the same when I first arrived in Prythian.
"She is a threat," he retorted.
"She burnt me, and took the air from my lungs, I'm going with Rhys on this one." Cassian said.
"Fine, but I'm going to be the only one here when she wakes up, I won't argue with any of you about this." I crossed my arms.
"Fine, everyone go about your normal day, Feyre, I will keep a slither of my shield open for you, yell if you need anything." Rhys told me; I was glad he valued my decision.
They all left, and I on the sofa opposite the girl, picking up my book from the other day and carrying on with it.
After only about ten minutes she jolted up, looking down at her wrists. I rushed to her side as she began clawing at the binds. I took her hands.
"Look at me, not them." her tear-filled eyes met mine.
"Now breath, if you promise not to attack me or try and escape, I can take them off." I kept her hands in mine.
"I promise." Her voice was almost a whisper.
The iron bands snapped and fell from her wrists, I stuck them in the pocket dimension for the time being.
"I just want to go home." She whispered, a sob shaking her body.
I sat next to her and pulled her close, holding her as she cried. Once she had calmed down a little, I let her go but stayed sat next to her.
"What is your name?" I asked.
"Nehemiah." She replied, rubbing her wrists where she had cut them.
"I'm Feyre, I can heal those if you want." I said with a small smile.
She nodded so I held a hand just above her wrists and let the light flow over them. it only took a couple of seconds for her skin to be unmarred.
"Thank you." She said, her voice a little more confident.
"So, you can turn into an owl." I said, trying to come up with conversations.
"Yeah, I wish I had my mother's hair so that I blended in a little more" she said with a sigh.
"White does stand out," I said with a chuckle.
"It looks good on my dad but I'm not so sure on me." she pulled her braid over her shoulder.
"I like it, it makes you unique." I replied with a wink.
'Can I come in?' Rhys asked into my mind.
'I'll ask her.'
"Nehemiah, my mate wants to come in, is that ok?" I asked.
"Is that the High Lord?" she asked, I nodded.
"Is he going to yell at me?" she asked, looking a little weary.
"No, I'll keep him in line." I said with a grin.
"Ok."
'Come on then.'
