Ch. 5 "Bad"

                                             Juniper POV 

Me and Daddy were in a field it was beautiful I giggled as I ran around, looking at all the flowers and picking a few of them, 

I ran to daddy, 

"Look daddy," I said excited 

I handed him the flower, 

"Yes they are quite beautiful," Daddy said putting one in my hair aside of my head, 

I smiled, 

"Come let us press on shall we," Daddy said taking my hand 

"Okay," I said as I smiled 

"Daddy can I ask you something?" I said looking up at him 

He looked down at me and smiled, 

"You know you can little bean," He said 

"How come when You were talking to Elena asking her about Grandma, why did her heart skip?" i asked 

Daddy stopped walking, 

"What do you mean?" He asked 

"You asked her if we had anything to worry about from Grandma and she said everything was fine, but.... her heartbeat skipped," I said 

Daddy pondered this for a minute 

"Are you certain?" He asked 

I nodded, 

Daddy closed his eyes taking a deep breath, 

"Little Bean I want you to go home and Find Uncle Kol or Niklaus and tell them what you just told me okay, I have some matters to attend to," Daddy said 

"But..." I trailed off, 

"I promised everything will be alright," Daddy said kneeling in front of me, 

I nodded taking off for the house at Vamp-speed 

                                      Elijah POV 

I walked to the Gilbert home and knocked, 

"Elena" I said  

" Elijah" Elena  said surprised 

" I don't mean to intrude. I was hoping you might accompany me. I want to show you something" I said 

 [The woods] (Me  and Elena arrive. we get out of the car)

" Forgot how much I missed this land" I said  

"Can't even imagine what it must have been like a thousand years ago" Elena said  

" You know, your school was built over an Indian village. Where I saw my first werewolf. The town square was where the natives would gather to worship. Matter of fact, near that was a... there was a field where wild horses used to graze" I said  

" That's incredible" Elena said  

" Come" I said 

 (We arrive at the church's ruins) 

"Do you know this place, too?" Elena said  

" I do. Below us is a cavern I used to play in as a boy, connects to a system of tunnels that stretch across the entire area. Perhaps it's nature's way of providing us with shelter against the savagery of the full moon. My mother said there must be a balance " I said
