~Jungkook pov~ I watched y/n as she walked throughout the school hallways making her way to class. She is so perfect I could just ask her to be my girlfriend right here right now. I noticed that she was heading the wrong direction to class so I discreetly followed her and her friend Lara.
I followed them to the principals office?! I pressed my ear against the closed door and listens to what they were saying.
Y: so we have got a question to ask, instead of boys asking girls to prom this year can't girls ask boys instead?
P:why would you want to break the tradition?
Lara: it's new and different and we can change it every year
P:I suppose so
Lara:yes you can finally ask Jungkook!!!
I froze after what I heard Lara say I ran back to class and sat down shocked and my jaw left hanging open.
Jin:bro you gd
Jj:yeye I'm ok
<after class> I couldn't stop thinking about what I heard her say I was happy and schocked and didn't know what to do I guess I just had to wait.
Y/n POV
Lara:so how you gonna ask him??! She asked with excitement
I shrugged and sighed Y: no matter what I do he'll think it's a joke Cus I'm the "popular girl"
We walked to Lara's house and began to think of ways I could ask Jungkook to prom.
We came up with a idea and it was perfect I needed to know Jungkook favourite colour tho so I texted his best friend park jimin.

I told Lara his favourite colour and we ran home (after getting food of course) and started to make the promposal.
It took us a while to make it but after a few hours of ribbons and balloons floating around and sweet wrappers on the floor ,we finally got it finished.
Y:next I just have to ask him. Lara squealed with excitement ,laughed at her actions and swung my arm around her shoulders and hugged her.
~few days later~
Authors POV:
Lara and y/n were sat in English class waiting for the teacher to arrive as usual she was late.
Y:where is Jungkook he's late as well. Not like him
Y/n was right. Jungkook WAS late and he was NEVER late. Usually y/n and Jungkook see eachother on the way and sometimes talk. She sighed and rested her head on her arm.
L:he'll be here. Dont worry
Y/n stood up and walked out into the hallways and walked to the bathroom. She did her business and washed her hands and then walked out to be greeted by a Jungkook.
Y:omo, Jungkook you scared me where have you been?
Jj:why would it matter to you anyway? You don't care your just the popular girl you don't actually care about me
Y:oh is that what you think of me?
Jj:that's what practically everyone thinks of you.
Y/N POV
I couldn't believe what he just said. I know that's what people think of me but I didn't think he would say it to my face.
A year fell from my eye and rolled down my face
Jj:oh y/n I-
I began to walk away when he grabbed my arm and pulled in in tightly for a hug
Jj:I'm sorry. I am. It just came out. That's what everyone thinks of you. But not me I think your a beautiful amazing girl who people take for granted.
He squeezed me and kissed my head. He pulled away and crouched down to my height and cupped my face with his hands and wipped my tears away.
Jj:you seriously are the prettiest girl in the world.
I giggled and my nose started to drip. He smiled at me Jj:even when your nose drips.
He pulled me in for a hug again and I returned the hug. He tucked his face into my neck and rubbed my back in circles. I felt him press a light kiss on my neck. I smiled.
???:um yon y/n and jeon jungkook what do you think you two are doing?
We both looked to see who it was and it was Lara. Jungkook looked at me and asked if I was ok i nodded and he kissed my forehead and hugged me tightly again. I looked at Lara who was wiggling her eyebrows at me and making smoochy faces. I smiled and hugged Jungkook as he tucked his face into my neck once again and kissed it twice.
