Chelu (che-lu) POV
I wake up to my phone ringing. When I look at my phone I see my boss's contact.
Chelu-"Hello"
Boss-"I need you to come in early"
Chelu-"why," I said in my naturally cold but gentle voice, annoyed at my boss for calling me so early in the morning.
Boss- "There are going to be some powerful people here and I need you to be their hostess for the day"
Boss-"And before you say why can't I do it, I'm too busy with paperwork."
Chelu-"why can't Renae do it"
Boss-"because she doesn't have enough experience"
Boss-"She'll embarrass the cafe"
Chelu-"Emery can do it she has to go in anyway"
Boss- "Lulu please you know she'll be clumsy and get an attitude with them"
Chelu-"but today is my day off"
Boss- "I know but, I really need someone I can trust to do this for me"
Boss- "so will you please do it I'll give you two more days off for helping me"
Chelu- "Fine"
Boss- "thank you, Lu, they will be here at 8:00"
Chelu-" okay bye"
I hang up to look at the time to see it's 5.27. With it being so early I decide to go back to sleep.
