The house was on fire. The fairies must have gotten angry.                                                                            Was that screaming? I groggily woke up to hear my mother screaming my name. Was that my name?

"Hannah!"

 I heard my mother scream.

It was. Where was I? Oh right at the hill. I ran out of my room, my loose braid almost falling apart. I stopped, the living room was on fire. It looked like my hair, bright red and orange. It looked so beautiful compared to the dark sky, almost peaceful.

I had to jump. I took a deep breath, it was either jump out the window or die.

I jumped, I could feel the air brushing against my skin and I opened my eyes. I landed on my feet for once and ran. I heard screaming behind me but I couldn't look back, it would slow me down. I had to leave them behind.

I found my mother and almost collapsed from relief. She was too tired to move so I had to use magic, something I promised me never to do.

I conjured vines and made them swirl around us tiny wisps of magic circling around me and we left the hill and took to the mountains. It was a bumpy ride because the mountains were far and my magic wasn't as advanced as I needed it to be.

I felt like crying. I just realized I lost everyone except my mother. My sister died long before the war between the giants, fairies, mermaids, and dragons. My elder brother died in the fire it was his screams and it was he who I left behind.

I feel like Hannah gives off main character vibes
