Chapter 5

Class 1A spent several months, training and attending internships. You ended up working with Mirko to boost your overall strength so that you could fight without relying on your quirk.

It was the holiday season. Nobody had any big plans for the winter, so they were only going to stay at home before Momo suggested going to the mountains for the holidays.

"Wait, what? Are you serious?" Sero screamed with glee.

"I am!" says Momo, "I've already rented a cabin close to the location!" She said it all too casually.

"Is it safe? Do you think we'll be targeted by villains while we're there?" Tokoyami brought up the question.

"don't worry about it dude!" mina popped up, "we already asked Mr. Aizawa and he said it'll be fine since there hasn't been any major villain attacks."

you packed your things into your backpack and wore a jacket. You went outside to meet up with the rest of the class. "fuck its cold" you shivered when attending the bus.

You are sitting next to Deku. These last few months, you two have been relatively close. But it was hard to take the time to hang out because you were both busy.

You can see Deku's tiredness, his hair tangled and unkempt. He was scribbling notes in his notebook. "what're you even studying for?"

He raised his head, "Y/n! Oh, nothing- I just don't wanna fall behind..."

"Stop overworking yourself, dumbass, did you even sleep last night? You look like a tornado hit you"

"gee...thanks, but I slept..." He made an awkward chuckle.

"Yeah... Like I'd believe that... What time?" you scoff at him.

"until midnight- But it's all right! I've done this a lot before, so there's nothing to be concerned about!"

"'there's nothing to be concerned about' I don't care, sleep." You mocked as you flicked his forehead

He rubbed the spot you flicked "ow... I can sleep in the cabin if your that worried-"

"I'm not worried." You look away

He grins at you, perfectly aware of your humiliation from being called out.

You were scrolling through social media when you noticed Deku's head drop forward as he fell asleep.

"Loser," you thought to yourself as you rested his head on your shoulder for the duration of the ride.

Because most of your classmates were still tired from the mornings, it was a quiet drive. The people who were awake, on the other hand, were talking and trying to keep quiet so as not to disturb everyone else. Tsu and Uraraka were listening to music while Mina was painting Kaminari's nails and Sero was playing Nintendo with Kirishima.

"Do you like him?" Todoroki asked as you turned around.

"like!? Your funny." You were amused by his antics.

"I didn't think I was trying to be funny," oh yeah I forgot, he's socially constipated

"yeah yeah... Where'd you get that assumption anyways?!" He glanced back at said person who was currently sleeping on your shoulder answering your question.

"oh? So you can't do shit like this anymore in a platonic way??" "I didn't say th-" "you didn't say it but you implied it-" You feel Deku stir in his sleep
