For a moment Seokjin is still, the shock becoming realization.

The last time he saw Taehyung, he was still a kid. He was like a little brother to Seokjin. But now Seokjin questions himself, was that really all he ever saw Taehyung as? Because he's looking at him now, and his heart is acting up and there's so many feelings spiraling. Non platonic feelings that are really confusing him. The way he's invoking such intense emotions in him, it makes him wonder.

How could he feel so much so fast if there had once been nothing there?

Before Seokjin can even try to fully process everything he's thinking, Taehyung is walking towards him.

Seokjin is doing math in his head, counts six years. There's anticipation and nervousness in his chest. Now he's thinking of what he should say. How he should act. Calculating and shifting through scenarios at a rapid speed that's starting to stress him out. Then all his thoughts fly out his mind as he's tackled into a very aggressive and very affectionate hug.

He lets out a noise at the impact and for a moment his arms hang uselessly at his sides before he wraps them around him. Taehyung presses his body against Seokjin's, and he thinks he might have lost the ability to breath.

And then Taehyung looks at him, all bright smiles and big cheeks. "Hi, Jinnie hyung, did you miss your little Taehyung-ah?"

Seokjin breaks out into a grin and he wants to laugh because he's so stunned, mind still reeling. He's got an armful of Taehyung, his little Taehyung-ah. How he's managing to look like a new person and exactly the same, Seokjin doesn't know.

He's smiling so big that he doesn't register right away that he hasn't said anything. Shit.

"I didn't know you went here," he says dumbly. That wasn't exactly what he was going to say. A greeting would have made more sense, but his mouth just blurted out whatever before he could really think.

"It's my first year hyung," Taehyung beams.

"Right, right," he nods. He's cringing at himself.

He should probably ask something now.

Taehyung's still smiling so big at him.

Seokjin glances down and takes in the shirt Taehyung's wearing. It's a crop top that ends right at the waistline of his shorts. It's white with long sleeves. Pretty. Pretty like Taehyung. Taehyung is so pretty. Taehyung pretty. Pretty Taehyung.

Get it together please.

"I like your shirt."

"Thank you." Taehyung plays with the end of the bell sleeve. "So, did you?"

Seokjin blinks and meets his eyes with a questioning look.

"Miss me," Taehyung explains.

"Of course I missed you."

Taehyung looks pleased and Seokjin can hardly take it, so he tries to look somewhere else. He glances around and realizes that people are looking at them. There aren't many people around, but eyes on him make him uncomfortable.

Is it rude to mention it now? To tell Taehyung that he's lovely and they need to catch up, and also when did he get so gorgeous, but hey, could they like, go somewhere else because he doesn't like the attention?

"Come with me hyung."

Seokjin breaths out with relief. Taehyung remembers.

He takes a hold of Seokjin's wrist. His touch is light and gentle. Soft.

Seokjin follows him as Taehyung leads him behind the front desk to a door that he's seen before. He sure that he works here now from the way he walks in confidently and no one bats an eye at them.
