Alex and I haven't been in good terms, recently I brought up a topic in an argument we were having, he has told me a few times before he didn't like talking about it but I truthfully forgot.
He ended up walking out of the room before he exploded on me, since then we have been pretty distant neither of us are ready to speak about it just yet.
Anyway, Alex has some friends over and we are playing mario kart in the living room, Karl was streaming the gameplay. I'm playing next to Alex's friend, Henry, he seems pretty cool, he helped me win 3 rounds against Alex.
"THROW THE SHELL !THROW THE SHELL!" he yelled at me over Karl and Alex freaking out over getting to the finish line. I threw the shell to the back of Alex's kart, his yoshi character spun around before I zoomed passed him and made it to first place in the finish line. "WOOO!" I jumped up and cheered, Henry did the same since he was in my team. He wrapped his arms around my hips and spun me around as we laughed. i felt uncomfortable but it ended quickly so i didnt really think about it.
He put me down on the ground and I skipped towards the kitchen, he followed behind.
My socks glided through the smooth, cold, tiled floors as I made my way to the fridge.
I pulled on the door handle and scanned the the fridge.
"Ouu you want a caprisun?" I asked pulling a baggy for myself.
"Sure" he smiled at me, he had straight white teeth, complimenting his pink lips.
I handed one to him. "ALEX!" I yelled.
"hm?" I hearded him Hum, I turned around and saw him leaning on the entrance of the kitchen, it looks like he's been watching for a while, he had a serious look on his face.
I gulped. he's so scary when hes serious.
"Do you want a juice?" I asked. He shook his head and glared at Henry.
I took one out for Karl, knowing he would want one. I shut the door and slowly walked back to the living room. Alex glared at Henry while I made my way towards him, once I got close he placed a hand on my shoulder, lightly pushing me forward, towards the living room. I sat next to Karl and handed him his juice. He looked up at me, his eyes glimmering before he smiled hard and hugged me. "Thank you dude" he said before getting his juice.
Alex walked with his hands in his pockets, he had stayed behind with Henry in the kitchen.
Henry walked behind him, his posture was horrible as if he was trying to make himself unknown.
I shuffled under the couch uncomfortably as henry sat all the away across the couch from me, Alex sat next to Karl, as they did before.
Karl and i side eyed each-other before he looked at Alex. "everything okay?" he asked, followed by an awkward giggle. "oh yeah i'm good" Alex sat up and smiled at him before getting his controller again.
"alright you and Y/N are going to be a group ill be with henry." Karl spoke before standing up and sitting next to Henry, who sipped on his juice, awkwardly watching us.
"what did you tell him?" i whispered to Alex. he sighed before turning over to my ear "dont worry about it.. you're still my girl, i'll always be here for you." his breath ran down the side of my neck, my skin getting goosebumps. he planted a soft kiss to the side of my head, i shut my eyes, enjoying his soft lips that i havent felt in forever. he skimmed through the options before selecting his mario kart character, he choose waluigi. i took a deep breath, trying to collect myself. "you..you guys know were streaming right?" karl laughed,staring at us.
Alex and i looked at him before laughing. "chat is going to have fun with that one" i joked as everyone laughed.i selected luigi and we started playing again. Alex placed a cushion from the couch on my lap and then laid on it, watching the tv screen and twiddling his thumbs on the controller.
i looked down at him, admiring his side profile, his nose perfectly upturned and a bit of hair stuck out from his hat.
"YO Y/N" karl laughed loudly. i looked up to the tv and saw that i was last place and in the middle of the grass.
"oh shit i didn't even see that either. You fucking suck" Alex laughed loudly at me along with the other boys. He reached up and quickly caressed my cheek to reassure me that he was joking. i knew he was but i loved when he did that.
"ALEX DONT SLIP ON THE BANANA!" I yelled, noticing that Karl had threw a banana back at him. "Y/N STOP RUNING MY SUPER EVIL PLANS" Karl yelled back at me.
i watched in anticipation as Alex drove right next to Karl, eventually Alex got a booster so he zoomed to the finish line. we cheered loudly and hugged eachother, Karl and Henry yelled at us. "whatevaa" "yeah yeah yeahhhh"
Alex and i smiled at eachother, before looking back over at Karl and Henry and flipping them off, Karl gasped and Henry shook his head at us.
