Tony could make out the sound of Pepper's slipping heels on the stairs over the heavy metal pouring from the lab speakers. He turns just enough to see her slump to the ground when he suddenly gets an overwhelming feeling of vertigo before everything goes dark.
Shaking is the first thing that registers when he starts to regain consciousness, the second thing seems unlikely, but it sounds like the kid. He can hear, "Mr.Stark! Mr.Stark! Please wake up. I think we got beamed to some uh ... movie theatre."
He slowly blinks his eyes open to see the kid Parker hovering over him with his 2 school friends standing behind him. he looks to his left to see Pepper still unconscious, and to his right are the rogue avengers and some people he doesn't know.
"what's going on, kid" he mumbles under his breath whilst trying to get to his feet.
Peter starts to open his mouth to answer when there is a groan from the pile of people on the ground, and a familiar voice says, "motherfucker, what is going on? I need intel right now."
The room seems to come to life all at once. Everyone starts moving and getting up. He helps a slightly out of it Pepper to her feet. He knows the exact moment that the Rogues notice him because almost all movement from the right side stops. He slowly turns to wave, "Hey guys, anyway, have any idea what's happening?"
"Why don't we start with who the hell are you guys."
Tony is honestly not as shaken seeing a raccoon? Build a bear? Talking to him as he probably should be.
He can't help it when the incredulous "who are we? what the fuck are you?" slips out because he just realized the other people in his group are green, blue, and sporting a freaking antenna.
"The Guardians of the Galaxy," says the only human-looking one.
"who," asks steve swift on the uptake as usual
"I am Groot," says the fucking ficus in the corner, startling he's pretty sure everyone in the vicinity.
"Steve, is that you?" they hear from the back of the theatre, and then low and behold out walks Peggy Carter and Tony is Pretty sure He's about to have a stroke because right behind her is none other than Howard stark. He feels Pepper's hand slip into his and squeeze just as the screen behind them light up and words appear.

Clint glowered in their direction and huffed in indignation, "yeah, I really don't see that happening Thor, I'm not calling you a liar or anything, but he's tricked you before so just keep him away from me."
