Miranda

My head got dizzy and my vision got blurry. I was down on my knees trying to see what hit me. I looked up and saw a dark figure. My vision began to clear and th figure I saw in front of me with a bag and rope was....Kayala.

 I began to get up but kayala came and kick my stomach and I was down my knee again. I don't get why is she doing this, is she involved with noah's death, is she working for someone, or is she the one stuffing suppose drugs Jenny was talking about in the cupcakes. I tried to scream but Kayala shut my mouth with cloth.

"Shut up you brat, you shouldn't have got involved" She said tieing the cloth around me.

She grabbed my hands and the rope. I knew she was going to tie them so with a gut feeling I swung my head back to hit her. I felt a light weight and I got up and got the cloth off my mouth. I looked at Kayala and I saw that I broke her nose. Her blood as everywhere but she still got up and try to rap the bag around me. I swung at her still trying to see and kick her leg. She landed on the floor and I got on top of her swinging and pulling her hair while she pulled my hair. We wreslted for a while until she got on top of me and pulled a blade.

"You and Jenny should have never got involved" she said.

"What do you mean?!" I said confused.

"You know what I mean, don't act stupid. Jenny said the only person she told was you." She said, "You should know better not to stuff your nose into other peoples business".

She put the blade towrds my neck. I can feel the sharp pin on my neck. I start to wonder if Jenny was right about the drugs in the cupcake. Once I came back to reality I felt blood running down my neck. She cut me, not badly but the cut was pretty long. Then sometiming swung at Kayala and when she let go of the blade I grabbed her arms and twist them behind her back. I pushed her to the floor putting all my weight on her.

"What the heck is going on?!" a vocie shouted.

I looked and it was Rosey another member of the club and my new friend when I joined. We don't hang out that much but we do in the sunshine club. I notice the play was over and everyone was leaving. I thought oh no what about Mavis. I couldn't see her because of Kayala and my dress was covered in blood.

"Rosey please I need your help but you can't tell anyone about this" I told her hoping she doesn't.

Rosey agreed  but she was still in shock. I told her to text Mavis i'm with her helping her on homework then to drive me to the police station. While she was doing that I began to tie Kayala arms. We got into the car but Kayala won't stop moving around and won't shut up.

"Umm Rosey take me to Stawford hospital" I said.

"Why?!" Rosey yelled.

"I need to ask an old friend a favor." I said.

Valdez Cortez was my very best friend since I was in kindergarten (before I met Mavis) and he was in 3rd grade. He was my big brother in Boys & Girls club and my tutoring buddy at school. Valdez alwayed told me he wanted to be a doctor because I wouldn't let him what I wanted to be when I grow up. He graduated early in Rochdale high school at age 17 and is right now in Middlesborough university.

Once we arrived he told me his lab was closed but we can go where he works, at Stawford Hosiptal. I needed Valdez to give her something so she can knock out and stop trying to kill me again. I told him to meet me outside however he couldn't take it outside of the building because he needs patient note that say he or she needs to medicine. So he sneaked us inside through the back door and into an office. He left to get the medicine and Kayala still being annoying but since were here.

"Why were you trying to kill me!?!" I said.

"I told you already and that's all you need to know" she said with a smile.

"Did someone wanted me dead" I asked.

Her face suddenly went blank then back to a smile. I didn't know what to exspect.

"You been to careless Miranda.... Blackwood" she said.

My heart fell and died because Blackwood was my fathers last name. My aunt told me he was stupid and thought it be a cool last name and my mother was stupid to agree to change her last name to that too. Once she told me I said I want her to change my last name to Winterton her last name (her husbands last name). My aunt was wiser and her husband was a respactful man to her.

"Winterton, Miranda Winterton" I yelled correcting her.

"Of course, Miranda Blackwood Winterton. What an interesting last name. Tell me does Schwartz know, too." she said with a smile.

I gasped. Before I can say another word Valdez walk through the door.

"Here's the thing your looking for Mimi" Valdez whisper. (He made up a nickname for me)

The medicine was something to help patient sleep fast. The better thing was it's not pills, you can drink it.

"Before I drink that", she said "I need to take my Vitamin, would you be a dear and get it. It's in my pockect" she said.

While i was getting it Valdez was measuring how much she has to drink. Before I gave it to her I dropped it in the medicine to make sure she drinks it.

She dranked the whole thing a gave me a smile and said "I'm a free woman now".

All of a sudden she started twitching and moving horribly. She fell on the floor gasping for air and couching. Valdez grabbed her and carried her out to the nearest doctor but it was to late. She died once he picked her up. Her cause of death was that her lungs exloped due to overdose. Police came and found an unsent message to her parents and little sister telling them how much she loved them, telling eachwhat she loved about them, and wished she done more. Her message was similar to Noahs' letter. They questioned Valdez and I told them to whole story but it feels like it doesn't matter other than saving Valdezs' job and career.

Rosey drove to the store to buy be a long coat to cover my bloody dressthen drove me home. Mavis told me about Kayala even though I know what happen and told me there's an emergnacy meeting on Monday. All I did was change, put the dress in the washing machine, and into bed. But there was one thing on my mind I wished I said.

Why did she bring up Schwartz?
