POV Raditz

Planet Klock was a large planet with vast grassy areas. The planet was warm; it also had three suns. After a few days of rest, our team was recharged. Personally, I felt a painful stab of anger; I didn't know where it came from.

Our group walked across the planet between three other groups. We were facing an army of blue men with big ears. They had truncheons and pistols. Prince Vegeta was in front "let's have fun boys" he called out.

We ran across the field, the enemy threw bombs at us. For a moment we were blown away a bit, but quickly recovered. With a powerful ki blast from our side, their first line was quickly gone.

The opponents were strong. At one point half of our complete group of four teams were injured or dead. From our group Tyme was laying on the ground, I could not read his power level from the scouter. There was no time for that in the fight either.

Reinforcement came, for the wrong side. The opponents were joined by great wild beastly creatures. They shot at us, a big bang and the energy blew us over. Behind us we heard a shouting, in front of us the enemy came storming at us.

I jumped up, feeling angry and small. There were too few of us, but we were Saiyans. We are proud warriors, I heard our prince yell "Saiyan pride". We ran towards the enemy.

My fist landed on the jawline of a blue warrior, he slammed a fist into my stomach. I landed on the ground with a kick after. The man points a gun at my face. But before I could blink it off, something slid through the enemy's arm. He screamed out in pain as his arm fell to the ground.

The enemy and I looked aside, the one holding the sword was none other than Yuri. "That's my friend" she said angrily. She jumped up, circled around pirouetting and beheaded the man. Startled, I looked at her. She wiped blood splatter from her cheek.

Behind her an opponent appeared, I pushed her aside and with my hand against the big man's belly I blew him away. He probably never got up again. Out of nowhere I felt a kiss against my cheek. Surprised, I looked to the side. She gave me a wink and dashed away. The battle continued.

POV prince Vegeta

The wounded were loaded onto the ship, bunch of weaklings. Also a man of ours, Tyme was in bad shape. I couldn't care less, I had a good fight. The reinforcement wasn't necessary, but for some of the fighters it might have been their salvation.

Raditz stood beside me, the faithful warrior that he was. Nappa and Corny joined us as well. "Prince Vegeta "began Nappa "Update from Tyme, he got hit pretty bad and is now going into a medical machine". I waved it away "okay fine".

With my arms crossed I look around. Slowly we were getting ready to head back to planet #79. A sneaky voice suddenly spoke to us from behind "aren't you missing one". When we turned around there stood Cui.

"Screw you Cui" we walked on. But the annoying fish boy kept walking behind us. "Ah Vegeta, you are not the best leader if you leave your men for dead." Angrily I turned around and my fists clenched. Out of the corner of my eye I saw someone I knew, she was shaking her head. Then I remembered yesterday, the mind games.

I got a smile on my face "Ah Cui, at least I have my own team and the title of prince. You are just an apprentice warrior. "With that I turned and we walked away. Cui called out some more after but we ignored him, he wasn't worth the energy.

On the ship, we were in our own cabin on the spaceship. Everyone was on their own bed; no one spoke, exactly how I like it. Then there was a soft knock on the door, Nappa got up in annoyance and opened the door.

I didn't feel like making an effort to see who it was. It was probably just a written update or report being handed over. "Uh Ms. Yuri?" stuttered Nappa. "Hi boys." The little girl climbed into my bed next to me. "I'm going to sleep here for a while, the other apprentice fighters are too rowdy and I want to sleep."

Everyone stared at the girl next to me; I threw a blanket over her and lay back down with my hands under my head. I felt eyes still staring "rest boys, in a few hours we will be back on planet #79". Everyone lay back down in their beds; it was quiet in our cabin.

Three hours landing we heard sirens to get ready for landing. We woke up; the girl next to me woke up too. She jumped out of bed "thank you brother" and with those words she disappeared. Nappa looked at me sheepishly "brother?" I grinned "yes I adopted her".

24 hours later on the training ground

I was sparring with Nappa, a little further up Raditz was training with Corny. A commander approached. "Prince Vegeta and team of Saiyans, I have news about your teammate. We were unable to save him. He died of his injuries at 8:18 this morning". We were all quiet, an uncomfortable silence ensued.

I spit on the ground. "Unfortunately, he was not strong enough after all." I flew at Nappa again. Quickly continue training, sitting around sulking won't make anyone better. Unfortunately there is now one man less, but there is no room for weaklings.

More teams came onto the training field. I mainly sparred with Nappa and Corny. Young Raditz was nowhere near my level, but sparred mainly with Corny. Then we saw the apprentice warriors come walking onto the field in a large group.

One of the masters addressed the group, silently I listened in. "Today you will be trained by our new elite team. They are just together themselves but their unique powers and techniques are going to help train you. Captain Ginyu and his team". A door slid open, the most ridiculous colorful group entered. Is this a team or a circus?

Each clown of this so-called Ginyu force took three students apart. Yuri and fish boy were with a red boy with white hair. He put a hand on Yuri's shoulder and whispered something. She giggled, what is this nonsense? Out of the corner of my eye I saw Raditz observing this too. "Raditz, we're going to spar now." Surprised, he looked at me.

I released a lot of energy, Raditz was clearly struggling but I was pushing his limit. He fought back well. He seemed angry and wanting to prove himself, something which I already suspected. Our fight clearly drew attention. Two young warriors who could clearly fight well, anyone would know that Saiyans don't need training

After about fifteen minutes, I gave him a good smack to the jaw and he went to the ground. Corny intervened "That's enough guys". I had a smirk on my face. This was entertaining, and we had clearly shown ourselves again. Saiyans, are not to be underestimated, we are above this pathetic travesty of apprentices.
