Sakayanagi Pov

Today I had again that dream in which I visited that facility deep in the mountains in which only white color prevailed, in which only a boy with brown hair and golden eyes adorned that gloomy place, yes that boy that today was going to give me the best battle of wits that I could wish, just after this beautiful dream a soft breeze accompanied by the faint rays of the sun woke me up, this day was the most important day of my life, today I could see if my ideology is the right one or if I was always wrong, to be more exact today my life could give a 180° turn, if today I would bury or be buried by the false genius Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, the one who is a genius but at the same time he is not, an incredible existence as well as terrifying, an existence that can be your best ally as well as your worst enemy, many would say that I am crazy to be happy to face him, and I would not blame them, but for me that existence was like that of a friend I never had the opportunity to meet, besides being also a person to whom I had deep respect.

Today we had the last special exam which faced all the class leaders as well as their classes, plus there was the bonus that our classes could change if we lost since the difference in points was minimal, to be more exact our class points were as follows:

Class A (Sakayanagi) 1564 CP
Class B (Ryuen) 1500 CP
Class C (Horikita) 1480 Cp
Class D (Ichinose) 1300

Although that was the least of my problems, since all I cared about was facing Ayanokoji-Kun, the last special exam consists of a showdown between two classes very similar, to the special exam of our first year.

Although there were some notable differences such as 'The events will be chosen directly by the school' and 'The order of confrontation will be completely random'.

(The rules of this exam are practically the same as those of vol 11, for each loss 50 CP will be subtracted and for each victory 50 CP will be added).

The main events were:

-Round matches of different sports (soccer, basketball, volleyball and more).

- Exams of 50 questions C/U English, Mathematics, History, Literature, Etc, (In each of the exams there are 10 college level questions).

- Quick mental arithmetic

- 3 other unimportant events (these are mainly geared towards leadership, teamwork and critical thinking)

- Chess (The class decides on a single student to participate).

Obviously the one that interests me the most is the last chess event, even though I had already lost 1 time to Ayanokouji, I wanted to have a rematch in which only the 2 of us would face each other from the beginning to the bitter sweet end, and apparently my wish was going to come true very soon.

The main events ended without much trouble to be honest they were even a bit boring and predictable, our class won 3 out of the 6 events played which were the home and away games although we had problems with sudou in the basketball games in the end we were able to solve it with 3 physically capable people acting as defenders and 3 people belonging to the basketball club acting as main attackers, the next event we won was the exams although it was not by a very high margin either it was an average of 83 points for class A to 78 for class C, I have to admit that class C has improved a lot in the course of these 3 years, and finally the third event we won was critical thinking with my indications and the help of Hashimoto it was not very complicated.
