Zoe POV -
I hold onto my coffee as we drive down the busy roads, anxious thoughts going around in my head. I take a sip of my drink, giving myself a pep talk before we stop in front of a white building, the words Sherri Hill written across in bright pink.
"Zoe, you're going to do great!" Karlie comforts me, as I pull her into a hug. "Call me if you need a ride back, okay?" I nod my head before unfastening my seat belt and climbing out of the car, chucking the empty coffee cup into the bin at the side. I walk into the building, and see the line for the receptionist. The lady sits in a posh manner, her lips painted bright pink and her blonde hair pulled up in a bun as she flips through the pages of her portfolio.
"Hi, I'm Zoella Cameron, I'm here for the new photographer job," I say, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear and handing her my file.
"Mm, yes. Miss Cameron, you shoot in Studio 14 today," She smiles, looking up at me, "Just go down the hall, take a left up the stairs and walk straight ahead until you find the Studio. The numbers on the door." She says, rushing her words.
Sighing, I pull my neon pink bag onto my shoulder and walk down the hall. I take small steps as I admire various pictures on the cream walls of beautiful models. I follow the receptionists directions until I come across a dark blue painted door with a gold "Studio 14" stuck on it.
Twisting the handle, I push open the heavy door and step in. The room is fairly large, the walls painted pure white, with a frames hanging on the walls. Clean white sofas furnish the room while a load of cameras fill the middle of the room.
As I walk further in, I realize there is already someone here.
"Hello, you must be Zoella Cameron," He muses, his eyes moving up and down, as he scans me.
"Yeah," I nod, smiling, as I shake the hand of the stranger whose dressed in a black and white striped sweater with a pink scarf around his neck and tight black trousers.
"Well, my name is Charlie, they asked me to meet you, as this is your first day at Sherri Hill, just so you feel a bit more comfortable. But don't worry, today won't be much work, you just have one model today and she will only have two outfits to switch from. Oh, did you receive your schedule? "
"Yeah, I've read through it when got it through the mail a few days ago."
"Okay, that's fine. The model will be here any minute. The clothes are in the dressing room over and the stylists will be here any moment, so if you need anything else, please do tell me, my office is just down the hall. Good luck, Miss Campbell."
"Okay, thank you." He kisses my cheek, before disappearing down the hall, leaving me alone.
I sigh, dropping my bag on one of the sofas and walking in front of a body length mirror, staring at the reflection.
I'm wearing a royal blue shirt, black jeans and a pair of black Louboutin heels. Puffing up my curled hair, that Luke curled this morning, I clip my fringe to the side.
The sound of the heavy door being pushed open startles me.
"Yeah, okay. Rob, I don't have time... I don't care... Okay... I'm at work... Bye." Looking through the mirror, I stare up at the tall, classy female. She's dressed in a pair of black short shorts, a blue crop top and beige heels. Just a sluttier version of my outfit. A couple of stylists follow in after her, and make their way to the dressing room.
