CHAPTER 6
Internal Conflict

Eren gripped his now useless gun and sighed he peered around the corner and looked for a way to escape. The group slowly advanced towards his spot and he chuckled. All or nothing! He grinned and charged towards the three men and the twins.

He threw his gun at the first man that had attempted to shoot him and landed a kick to the other man's face. Eren dodged their attacks, he kicked one of the men away and managed to look his combat knife.

The brunette jumped back and flipped the combat knife, he motioned his hand at the three men with a taunting, confident grin.

A growl escaped one of the men's lips and he pointed his gun at the brunette who moved from side to side and dashed towards him. The man felt a hard fist connect with his stomach.

He coughed out blood and collapsed to the ground, suddenly feeling a surge of pain course throughout his abdomen.

"Basta-"

Eren grabbed the gun and fired what bullets it had left at the twins that had come running towards him. Each bullet hit them on the leg and on the shoulder. Suddenly the remaining two men hit Eren on the head and kneed him on the gut.

Shit! Eren grunted, falling to the ground coughing out blood.

"Now then..." Katsu grinned ignoring the pain in his leg and approached the brunette. "Our turned to ask questions, who are you?"

Eren looked up and grinned maniacally, "like hell I'd tell you!" He spat.

Katsu kicked Eren on the face and grabbed him by the hair. "Wow, you really are just like our new boss. Although your eyes and hair colour are different, you've got the same look in those eyes." He said.

"I have no idea what the hell you mean, but don't compared me to your corrupted Mafia." Eren growled.

"Corrupted?" Jin asked as he clutched his bleeding arm. "We're gonna do the world a favor when we get that girl! Trust me, watch us from hell."

Just before Jin could pull out his knife and stab the brunette, he suddenly fell to the ground, motionless. Katsu's eyes widened seeing the look of blood that had begun to form under his brother.

"Jin-!!"

A gunshot echoed throughout the alleyway and muffled screams. Eren slowly stood up and looked down at Katsu. "'Bout time you guys got here." He sighed and his cold eyes glared at Katsu.

"Don't compare me to you Mafia, you guys aren't anywhere near to doing the world a favor." Eren spoke grimly.

Katsu laughed, "that's it! You're his brother!! You're boss' lost brother!!"

Katsu's laughs continued and Eren's eyes widened, confusion overwhelmed him and questions raced into his mind. "What... do you... mean...?" He asked.

However, Katsu's laughs had died out and all that lay on the ground was a corpse. Eren stood in place, not even aware of Jean who was trying to get his attention. "Oy! Eren!!" Jean yelled right in his ear.

Eren flinched and put his hand against his ear, glaring at Jean. "Dude... you ok?" Jean asked his expression quickly shifting to concern, "you look like you've seen a ghost..."
