Changing A Thug (ON HOLD)

Chapter 5

I held on tightly to Shawn's hand as we walk across the football field. I quickly glance at Tray to see him staring.

Perfect.

I laugh and pretend to be talking to shawn as We walk towards the end of the field.

Once we were out of Trays view I let go of Shawns hand and Hug him .

"Thank you so much "

"Yeah you owe me " he replies laughing.

"Alright by text me later " I say before walking away.

I headed towards my dorm room knowing Tray would be there any moment.

It took me only a few minutes to get there since it was so close.

Just as I was walking in my roommate was walking out.

"Hey Khia " she says smiling.

"Hey Michaela. Where you going " I ask her even though I already knew the answer .

She was rarely here because she had a Senior boyfriend with his own apartment around the corner from practice.

"Im headed to Jakes but don't wait up I probably wont make it back until tomorrow "

I nod and walk into the dorm room shutting and locking the door.

I sat on my small bed anxiously waiting. Thirty minutes passed and he didnt show

And hour passed but still no Tray.

Two hours passed but Tray didn't show. I sigh standing up looking out of the window the sun was starting to set and I knew he wasn't coming.

I felt the tears in the back of my eyes so I tightly closed them. I refuse to cry

Maybe this whole thing was a bad idea. Tray wasn't perfect or 100% faithful but he was MINE.  Now he's not and I cant help but think its my fault.
