Changing A Thug (ON HOLD)

chapter 4

"Time out......khia meet me in my office ." Coach turner says from the side lines before blowing her whistle.

All of the girls sat on the bench drinking their water as I went to her office ."yes ma'am"

"Khia.  ...what's the problem. .you missed most of your threes and jumpshots .."

"I'm sorry ..I'll do better .my head is just in the wrong place " I wasn't lying. Ever since two days ago when tray came to my dorm. He hasn't called or anything.

"Well get your head back in the game. Your my star player and I would hate to kick you off the team" she replies.

I nod before walking back out into the gym.

I bit my bitten lip as the phone rung the last time and went to voice mail. I've been calling tray all day and have yet to get an answer.  I even went to his dorm room and nobody came to the door.

I felt my eyes watering meaning I was about to cry. Every time he does this to me I let him back in so easily.

This time its going to be different.

"OK so what your saying is that you want me to pretend to be your boyfriend" one of my friends on the football team said.  His name and Shawn and I've know him since my first month here.

"Yes please ...just for fun " I plead .

He contemplated before answering

"Fine...what do I do"

"When do the football players have practice. " I ask him tapping my chin.

"Today at 3. "  he replies.

"OK that's perfect ...all we have to do is walk past tray hugging and laughing to get him a little mad then when he comes to me with his BS...I'll break up with him " I think my plan aloud. 

You can call me petty but I don't care

I am seriously tired of him thinking its okay to walk over me just because we have a past together.

"Ite. ..but if his strong ass hit me..its your fault "Shawn says grabbing me hand

I laugh at him and walk towards the football field
