Chapter 10: Information

        I take Chang into the interrogation room and throw him onto the chair as I handcuff him to the metal table by his hands and cuff his legs to the bolted down metal chair and step out as Niegel waits for me outside of the door. "So what's the deal with this guy?" he asks as I grab my tools, "He's an asshole that has information that I need" I say as I look through the tool box, "Everyone's an asshole to you" he says with a chuckle as he leans against the table, "And you're the biggest one of them all" I say as I take the tools and go back into the interrogation room. I grab a bucket of cold water and splash it on to his face as he jerks awake and gasps for air. "Well Hood I applaud you, it takes a lot for someone to knock me out" he says with a chuckle as I step closer to him, "You know what I want, now tell me where he is!" I yell at him as we are face to face, "Oh stupid naive child, do you really think I would just tell you? You're not so smart now are you, Hood? or would you rather have me call you John?" he asks with a loud maniacal laugh. I keep staring at him trying not to show the slightest expression, "What the hell are you talking about?!" I yell at him as he keeps laughing, "Oh John, don't act like you don't know it was simple really to find out, once I heard about the hooded vigilante in Chicago I just had to do my research" he says with a devilish grin "Yes you may have erased your identity, but the history is still out there I saw the way you fought and immediately knew those were the teachings of El Chapo, I did some more research and saw in the paper, "Family of four dies in freak house fire" and knew it was Chapo's trademark and from there everything else was cake" he says as he smiles at me. I quickly take out a knife and stab his leg, "Looks like all that research was for nothing!" I yell as I twist the blade, Chang cringes "You won't kill me John, I have information you need" he says through gritted teeth. I leave the blade in his leg and step out of the room as Niegel was outside listening to the whole thing, "Uh John" he says almost a whisper as I take out a knife and press it against his neck, "You don't fucking call me that! You never call me that or you're dead!" I yell as he looks at me wide eyed and nods as I let go off him and put my knife away, "Hood, I-I just want to know what he's talking about" he says a little shakily as I start walking towards the bathroom, "All in due time Niegel" I say as I walk in and lock the door.

I take off my mask and hood as I look at the mirror to see my reflection and splash water on to my face, "John is dead just like the rest of them" I say as I keep splashing water on to my face, flashbacks start appearing in my head as I grab my head and punch the mirror as it shatters I quickly wipe off my face and put my hood and mask back on and go back to the interrogation room."Done with your little tantrum?" he asks with a grin, "What do you know?" I say sitting across from him, "Oh no not so fast John, the test isn't over yet, until you pass I'll tell you" he says smiling widely, "What test?" I ask curiously but yet stern, "Did you really think I let you bring me here? That I was really going to kill the Mayor? Oh my poor boy this was all apart of the plan" he says with a chuckle as I stand up and punch him in the face, "What are you talking about?!" I yell as I punch him again, "I'm testing your wit, so far you're failing" he says laughing "I have a pregnant woman and her son held hostage they are in a secure location that you will find in this riddle" he says as he takes a breath "What is something that someone makes but doesn't want, something that someone wants but doesn't use, something that someone uses but doesn't know they have it?" he says with grin and a slight chuckle "And before you start trying to beat the answer out of me you're on a timer" he says with a smirk. I quickly run out of the interrogation to see Niegel already working on the riddle, "I was always horrible with riddles, I can't seem to find out where he has them" he says while working hard on the computer, I quickly get on my motorcycle and put on my helmet as Niegel runs over, "Where the hell are you going?! We don't know the answer or where it is!" he says, "The answer is a coffin and I know exactly where it is" I say as I rev up my motorcycle and speed off.

I speed into the Graceland Cemetery and run in as I go directly to my families and Talia's grave, "I'm sorry you have to see me like this, but just know I'm doing this for you, for all of you" I say as I look across and see two coffins sitting right by each other. I go over to them as I see a speaker right in the middle of the two, "Very nice job, Hood" the voice recorded message of Chang says "Now it's time for the real fun, these two coffins have bombs strapped on to them with the pregnant woman and her son, the bombs are on a timer and also if you open one the other will go off" he says with a laugh "Time to choose who lives and who dies, Hood! You have two minutes!" as the message fades and I hear the beeping of the timer. "Fucking hell" I say under my breath as I stare at both of the coffins until I sit down and start meditating clearing my mind of everything and just listening.

~Back at the base~

Chang An-lo is sitting handcuffed to the table and chair with his eyes close until he opens them, "Looks like it's time for me to get going" he says as he pulls on the handcuffs from both his hands and legs and breaks them off as he stands up and starts heading out the door. Niegel stands by the doorway shakily holding a large metal pipe as Chang comes out of the room and Niegel swings the pipe at his head, Chang quickly grabs it and throws it aside "I must admit you did surprise me, I didn't account on Hood to have a servant" he says as he picks up Niegel from his shirt collar, "But breaking you in half will be most amusing" he says as he throws Niegel into a table. Niegel struggles to get up but Chang quickly kicks his side and punches him in the stomach causing Niegel to fall back, "You may be smart but you are weak" he says as he picks him up and holds him over his head getting ready to slam him down to his knee breaking his back. Niegel quickly stabs him in the arm with an arrow he picked up from the table he was thrown into, "Brain over brawn, bitch" he says as Chang falls back in pain and is unable to get up, Niegel walks over to him "New arrow I'm working on, it paralyzes the victim for a very long time and it looks like it works like a charm" he says with a smirk as he kicks Chang across the face.

~Back at the cemetery~

 I clear my head only focusing on listening into the coffins and doing so having my enhanced hearing I hear banging and screaming from one coffin but nothing from the other. I go back and remember what Chang had said to me how he was testing my wit, the pregnant woman's son is the baby she's pregnant with! I quickly open my eyes and go over to the coffin she's in as I open it and quickly pick up the woman and run behind a tombstone taking cover from the explosion of the coffins. She hugs me and cries, "Oh thank you so much, t-this man was crazy h-he threatened to kill my baby" she says tears streaming down her face, "It's okay ma'am you're safe now, he won't hurt you or your son again" I say as I look at the tombstone of my mothers grave "He won't hurt your son" I say almost a whisper as I put her down and hear the sirens getting closer. "I have to go" I say as I turn around to run off, "Wait" the woman says "You know the media is wrong what they say about you, you're not a criminal, you're a hero" she says as I just stand there my back turned to her. "Hey! ma'am are you alright?!" an officer says running over to her side as she turns around to face him, "Oh yes I am, the Black Hood saved me" she says as she turns to look at me, but I am nowhere to be found.

I arrive back at the base as I see Chang start getting up from the floor and stand over Niegel, "Did you really think that could keep me down?!" he says as Niegel keeps on working, "No, I just knew it would keep you down until he got back" he says as I jump up from a table a shoot an arrow into his chest as it electrocutes him and he falls to the ground again. I quickly smash his face into the ground as he knocks out and I put him back in the interrogation room. I look at Niegel, "He escaped and you took him down?" I ask surprised as he just smiles, "You're not the only one who knows how to take people down" he says as I just shake my head and chuckle as I go back into the interrogation room. Chang wakes up to the sound of his head getting banged into the table, "Now tell me what I need to know?!" I yell at him as he just smiles with his bloody mouth, "I must say John, you have impressed me I didn't think you would pull it off" he says with a chuckle as I elbow him in the face, "Talk asshole!" I yell at him again. "Okay a deal is a deal" he says as he looks at me "I know where Vicente Carrillo Fuentes is" he says as I let go of him and my eyes go wide as I take a step back after hearing that name, the name I thought I wouldn't hear again.
