___ Checking the time on my phone, I realised that I didn't have time to sit and have breakfast so I hurried into the kitchen grabbing an apple and a bottle water before throwing my bag over my shoulder and heading out the door to the elevator. Once I got into my car I threw my suff onto the backseat before starting the car and putting on my seatbelt. While backing out my spot I decided to call my girl shay on FaceTime. "Sup hoe" she answered as soon as the call connected. "Well good morning to you too" I responded with a chuckle. "So I'm running a lil late today can u prep my client for me?" "Yea sis u know i got u...jus bring me something from IHOP" she responded."girl I'm already late and u want me to stop and get food?" I asked laughing a little. "But aight imma see what I can do" i said finally giving in. "That's what I thought" shay said before hanging up the phone. Shay , Kelsi and I have been friends since highscool. I'd be lying If I said I didn't love those girls. I made a right going to the nearest IHOP since I was hungry too.
I finally pulled up to "the beauty spot",a salon that i owned about 15 mins late. My 9:00 client was already there waiting for me. "Good morning" I said giving a general greeting while they all responded . I walked over to shay and kelsi handing them their breakfast before going into my office and putting my stuff down. Both kelsi and shay were already working on their first clients of the day. Shay was a hairstylist while kelsi was a nail tech and I did Make up. Ever since high school we had always talked about working in a salon together aside from my YouTube career. After putting down my stuff I walked over to my client to get started on her makeup."I'm sorry for being late" I apologized." It's okay girl I'm just ready for this beat ..i be watching your pics on Instagram and your work is so good" she said getting excited. "Thanks girl" I blushed "So u going for a natural beat right?" I asked. "Yes" she responded. ""Is it ok if I record the process for my YouTube channel?" I asked while cleaning her face with a makeup wipe. I always like to be sure I have consent from my clients before putting them on camera. " Yes of course ..i didn't even know u do YouTube videos imma have to subscribe...whats your channel? " "it's brie's life...and thanks girl" I responded while applying primer to her face.
"Hey guys ..welcome back to its brie's life and today I am back with another bomb beat on my client" I said to my camera while I got started on her eyebrows. After about half an hour, I was finished with her face and took some pictures before sending her on her way. "Finally" I said sitting down in one of the waiting chairs opening my bag of food to get ready to eat. I loved doing makeup and it was something that I have dreamed of doing as a teen but it could be tiring sometimes especially being a youtuber on the side. "Slow down Brielle.. the food ain't going nowhere" kelsi said causing shay and her client to laugh. "Girl bye..im hungry" I said taking another forkful of my waffles. "Ion know why people be hating on IHOP..this shit mad good." I said taking a sip of my water."So what's the plan for tonight?" Shay asked while laying the baby hairs on her client's lace front wig."girl i don't got anymore clients after this so I'm bouta go home and start editing my last haul." "Really bri? it's Friday and u worried bout YouTube stuff when u could be out having a good time" kelsi said getting slightly irritated. "Or finding a new man" shay added. "Ok we not about to go there ..but I really don't feel like going out tonight ..how bout I make it up to y'all by brunch tomorrow at 11?" I asked putting on the cutest face ever."fine" kelsi answered . I looked over at shay to get her response " girl you had me at brunch ..know a bitch love to eat" she said ratchet as hell causing us all to laugh. "Greedy ass " I said getting up wrapping up my stuff throwing it in the trash. I grabbed my stuff from my office before heading to the front of the shop." I'll see y all tomorrow" I said before heading out the door to my car.
Before heading home I decided to stop at Publix to get some things to cook tonight. I scanned the aisle trying to figure out what else I needed before heading to cash out " ooh milk" I said making a 360 turn with my cart heading to the milk section. There was one last box of almond milk of the brand I liked for my smoothies left on the shelf so I headed over to get it. Just as I was about to reach for it, a hand reached out grabbing it before me. I looked up seeing the dude who had grabbed the milk putting it into his cart. "Um I was about to get that" I said becoming slightly irritated. "Too slow" he responded nonchalantly while shrugging his shoulders and walking off.

I finally made it to the line meeting up with the same guy again. I stared at him for a moment realising that he was actually cute despite his mean look. He stood about 5'9 tall.. light skin ..well built ..with a healthy ass beard."lost ya puppy?" He asked catching me staring at him. I rolled my eyes without responding. After getting my stuff, I drove home and crashed on my couch getting ready to edit my videos. I didn't even feel like cooking anything. I just kept thinking back to the incident at the store...
