𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋, 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗹𝗳𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱

𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘚𝘪𝘹

a couple days after y/n's arrest, it was a bit awkward, Finn's parents haven't found out and Nick has made it harder for them not to. y/n's been keeping touch with Sara as well.

y/n sat on the couch and scrolled through Instagram on her phone. Finn walked in the living room and sat next to her. "hey" Finn said. "hey" "so um  I have to do something today is it ok if you stay here for a bit?" "sure, I'm meeting up with Sara anyways" "oh... Sara from the police station?" "yeah, she got bailed out yesterday and we're gonna hangout."

"oh, cool" "yeah..." "well I have to go so I'll see you later then." "ok, bye" y/n sighed in relief as her and Finn's awkward conversation was over. she got up and went upstairs to get dressed. "hi y/n" Mary said. "oh hi Mrs.Wolfhard" "please just call me Mary. how'd you sleep?" y/n hesitated. " I slept fine" "that's good" y/n lightly smiled before walking away.

y/n quickly got dressed in a simple cuffed jeans, belt, and a cute purple shirt. she heard a ding from her phone and quickly checked who it was.

sara<3:hi y/n! I'm really excited to see you <3

you: me too, I'm almost done getting ready so I'll be there soon <333

y/n smiled to herself and blushed. she quickly put makeup on and went downstairs. "do you want me to drive you or..." "no it's fine, it's walking distance" "oh ok well have fun" "thanks" y/n awkwardly smiled and left the house.

y/n walked down the side walk towards a little cafe, she smiled as she saw Sara standing there. "hey y/n!" Sara exclaimed. "hi!" the two girls ran to each other and hugged. " I missed you" "I missed you too, it's been a weird couple of days for me" "yeah.. well wanna go inside?" "mhm"

The two girls went inside and sat down. "so... how's Finn?" "oh he's okay, it's just been weird between us and his brother... it's been hard with him" y/n sighed. "oh I'm sorry..." "it's ok, Finn he... he's trying to make me feel better but he's only making it worse" 

" "anyways, how'd your parents take it? the whole arresting thing" "pretty well, they're just disappointed and I'm grounded so" "wait, so you snuck out?" y/n chuckled. "no they just think I'm doing something for school" Sara smirked.

"oh I see" the two girls chuckled. "wanna share a pie?" Sara asked. "sure"

"hey you just took a big piece!" y/n chuckled. "gotta eat it quick before I do" y/n playfully rolled her eyes and quickly ate the pie. "mm I was wondering, if you wanted to come over?" "like Finn Wolfhard's house?!" "yeah, is he that famous?" "I mean yeah, who hasn't seen stranger things and IT" she scoffed.  

"I haven't" y/n looked down. "right, shit sorry" " it's okay, don't worry " y/n smiled. "I feel bad now" Sara frowned. y/n grabbed Sara's hand and looked into her brown eyes. "it's okay" "okay, wanna go now?" "yeah,sure" 

the two teens payed and walked around, laughing and talking. "um Sara" "yeah?" "about the other day, when we met I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable" "No, you didn't, I love talking with you and..." 

Sara quickly pecked y/n's lips. "I liked when you did that" she smiled. "well okay, so I think Finn is still out so we're good for a couple hours and his parents are too nice to say no to me"

Sara and y/n made it to Finn's house. "great he's home" y/n sighed as she saw finn's car in the driveway. y/n opened the door with the key Finn had given her and walked inside.

"wait here" y/n walked upstairs to find Finn in his room. "um hey" y/n said. "hi, you're back" Finn smiled. "yeah, um is it okay if Sara stays for a bit, like in my room if that isn't a problem"

"oh... uh yeah sure no problem is she, here?" "yeah she's downstairs" "oh ok" Finn went downstairs and saw Sara, he looked at her up and down. "hey nice to meet you sara" Finn said. "oh my god, hi um I love you in stranger things and It, you're such an amazing actor and I can't believe I'm meeting you!" Sara squealed.

"oh you're a fan" "yeah a pretty big one" y/n awkwardly stood there and looked at the ground. Sara cleared her throat and quickly left with y/n. "I'm so sorry y/n" "it's okay, I don't blame you"

"so... how do you know Finn?" "he was my first and only friend at the orphanage, we were bestfriends and then one day he left without saying goodbye" "oh..." "yeah he was adopted and well me, I was never considered" "oh I'm sorry y/n" "it's okay, it was a while ago but it still hurts"

there was a moment of silence. "Sara..." "yeah?" "what's it like... having a family" "um it's okay, my siblings can be annoying and my parents are okay" "do they love you" "yeah I guess so" "thats what I want. that's all I ever wanted, a family. but instead I got running from the police all the time"

"I know y/n but you have Finn. I mean he took you to his home and his parents are treating you so kindly. it's obviously still gonna hurt but maybe a little less" "yeah, he said he loves me, out of no where, I know he doesn't, he doesn't know me" "yes he does, he knows the old y/n and the new one"

"okay, instead of talking about my problems, wanna watch Disney movies?" "hell yes, let's do it!" Sara sat on y/n's bed as y/n put on disney plus.

meanwhile, Finn heard everything y/n had said. he wiped his tears that fell and went back to his room.

he sat on the floor with his legs up to knees and silently cried. I just want her to be happy.
