Chapter 8

*Matt's POV*

I woke up feeling drowsy the next morning because I was out late with the guys. I went down and got some breakfast, and watched some Netflix. I was thinking about this a lot lately but I've been wanting to ask Bailey if she would be my girlfriend. She's so perfect, her smile, the way she laughs, and puts her head down when someone complements her. The part that gets me the most is all that she's been through she's still staying strong. I can tell she doesn't know how gorgeous she is. I'm gonna ask her today if she would be mine. I'm going to need help though so I called Jillian and Kylie and told them to come to my house because I needed help, they said they would be over in about a hour, that have me just enough time to take a shower. I got out of the shower and put some basketball shorts on an a t-shirt, I let my hair air dry and waiting on Jillian and Kylie. I heard the doorbell ring they are here I opened the door "Yoooo what's up" they yelled laughing walking in I've never met anyone crazier than these 2 girls. "Hey guys" I said smiling "So what's up, why did you want us to come over?" Kylie asked "Well, I've been thinking about this a lot lately but I wanna ask Bailey if she would be my girlfriend" I said grinning "MATT OMG FINALLY WE'VE BEEN WAITING" they said squealing and jumping up and down "Really?" I asked "Yes you guys are perfect for each other I can see it in yours and hers eyes" Jillian said smiling "Literally relationship goals" Kylie said being dramatic falling over laughing. "Well I kinda had a idea and if I'm going to do it I need you guys to help me with it" I explained "Yeah sure" they said "I was planing on going to her house while she's not there and leave little flower pedals that lead to a note, then she would meet me at the beach where I have a little table set up, and we have dinner then I'll tell her to close her eyes and you guys come out with a sign that says something cheesy I don't know what's it's gonna say I'll figure it out later" I explained kinda hesitant because I didn't know how they were going to react. "Matt" Kylie said serious "Yes" I said "That sounds perfect" Jillian said "Dude you are so sweet you are good for her, she needs a good guy in her life" Kylie said Jillian agreeing. "Thank you I really like her" I said I could feel my face getting heated oh god Matt "Awh is little Matty blushing" Jillian said in a baby voice making us laugh. "Okay back to the plan where you guys come in someone needs to get her out of the house for a little bit who wants to do that?" "I will"Kylie said "Okay Jillian your going to go with me and set everything up deal?" I said "Deal" they said "Okay put your hands in" Kylie said "Umm why?" I asked "Just do it dumbass" she said "Okay" we put our hands in yelling "Go team" they are stupid. "It's 12 right now so what do you say we have everything ready by eh 3:30 then she will be at the beach at 4 is that good? "Sounds good" they said "where do you want me to take her" Kylie asked "Take her shopping make her get something nice to wear" I said handing her some money "Well what the fuck am supposed to do with this say hey bailey Matts gonna ask you out and he wants you to wear something nice so he gave me money" she said sarcastically "Ummm no you are going to say I'm going to buy you something" I said with a sarcastic smile "Okay, well I'm going to go to Bailey's house and get her bye love ya" she said walking out the door "Byeee" Jillian and I said in sync "Okay first things first we need to get some things from the store if were going to do this and I need to change really quick" I said I went and put some khakis shorts and a "Reckless" shirt on and we were out the door heading to the store. After about a hour we finally got the supply's we need I got some flower pedals and some note cards and some other things that we needed. It was 1:30 when we got out of the store, I texted Kylie asking how everything was going, she texted back saying yes it was going good
don't worry. I really wanted this to go smoothly and perfect because a perfect girl deserves a perfect day. Jillian and I arrived at Bailey's house around 2. "Okay where should the pedals go?" I asked "Well you should have them follow up the steps first and then follow them in the house, then make them lead into the patio because she
likes the patio then have your little note on the table with pedals" she said "Perfect I said smiling. After about 30 minuets of laying out the pedals I got the little note card and started writing "Hey gorgeous, I need you to meet me at the beach at 4 I have a surprise for you. Wear that outfit "Kylie" bought for you by the way you looked beautiful today I know what your thinking you didn't see me today but I don't have to to know that you looked flawless. I hope you liked the flower pedals, Love Matthew 💜" I ended the letter and put it in a envelope with her name on it. By the time we got to the beach it was 3 we had a little over 30 minuets to get everything set. "Jillian will you be okay if I run to my house and change into nicer clothes and come back really quick" I asked hoping she would agree "Yeah sure I don't mind" she said smiling setting up the table for the dinner "Okay thank you your a lifesaver" I said giving her a side hug "Your welcome now sheww sheww go get some clothes" she said laughing. With that I went to the car and to my house to get some clothes. What do I wear? What do I wear? I kept thinking to myself I want everything to be perfect. I picked out a white button up collar shirt with little designs on it and some black skinny jeans and some white shoes I finally added a SnapBack to set it off, I texted Kylie telling her everything was ready she texted back with a okay and that they had just arrived at her house. I rushed out the door and to the beach. It was 3:40 when I got back and Jillian had everything set up it look really good flower pedals leading to the table and candle lite on the table. I hope and pray she says yes because if not all this will go to waste but it's definitely worth the try. It was almost time I was so nervous I don't even know what I'm going to say yet just wing it Matthew that's what you do most of the time anyways, I thought to myself laughing. "Jillian I need your help?" I asked "What's up" she asked "What do I say? How do I say it?" I asked getting jumpy pacing back and forth "Matt calm yo tits and listen to me" she said grabbing my shoulders "Just be yourself okay? She likes you for you just be you and it will go just fine" she said reassuring me "Okay" I said smiling that's when I heard a car pull up it was her.
