Chapter 6

*Matt's POV*
(Just so you don't get confused Kristen and Dylan are in LA they are not in Virginia)

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off "We dem boys" I groaned not wanting to get out of bed. I remembered that it was Friday and Bailey and I's date was today I instantly got excited, I checked the time it was 10:20 I hurried down for breakfast because we all know breakfast ends at 10:30 (See what I did there😉) . I was in the mood for some bagels, when am I not in the mood for some bagels they are so underrated. I went down to the kitchen seeing Kristen eating a bowl of cereal "Good morning sis" I said "Good morning Matt" she said stuffing her face I just laughed. I walked over to get a bagel, the bag was empty I had a half of bag yesterday who would do this to a person. "Kristen who ate all my bagels" I asked "Um I don't know probably Dylan" she said putting her bowl in the sink. I walked up to Dylan's room to see him snoring away so I decided to get revenge on him for eating all my bagels. I walked into the bathroom got a cup filled it up with cold water and got some shaving cream set up my camera so I can get his reaction for Vine "This is for eating all my bagels" I yelled pouring the water on him and smacking him the the face, he shot up out of the bed chasing me I grabbed my camera before running out, I was laughing so hard I couldn't control myself, before he could catch me I locked myself in my room. I got my Mac book and began editing the video to upload for Vine, I finally finished editing 30 minuets later and uploaded it. I tweeted "Uploaded a new Vine you can watch it if you want I mean I'm not making you but it's for the bagels". Hours past and it was 3:30pm I decided to go take a shower and get ready for my date with Bailey, after I showered I picked out Khakis and a blue flannel I left my hair down It was getting pretty long so I didn't want to spike it tonight. It was 4:30 by the time I was ready I texted Bailey and told her I was on my way to pick her up she responded with a okay. I couldn't wait, I decided to take her to a movie and out to eat or whatever she wanted to do was completely okay with me. When I was looking into her eyes the other night at her door step they didn't seem right, they didn't glistening like normal eyes do, they were just dull like something inside her wasn't happy I plan to figure it out and change that tonight.

*Bailey's POV*

I woke up around 11 the next morning tired but what's new I'm always tired. I wasn't really hungry so I skipped breakfast. Matt and I's date was today I was so nervous I don't know why though. He just makes me feel special constantly telling me I'm beautiful or gorgeous but the thing is I'm scared to let him in. I always feel like if I let a boy in he's gonna end up like Zach, hitting me, taking advantage of me, or other things. Zach may have moved and doesn't talk to me but he still hurts me more and more everyday because I won't let the people who love me in. I was trying to block the negativity out and stay positive before the date. It was almost 3:30 by the time I realized I needed to stop watching Netflix and go get ready. I put on some skinny jeans with a white shirt and a Denim cover up to go with it and some natural make up Leaving my hair naturally wavy, It was almost 4:30 when I got a text from Matt saying he was on his way reading it made my stomach do flips. Minuets passed by and Matt pulled up in my drive way, he rang the door bell, I opened it with a smile "Hey gorgeous how are you" he asked smiling "I'm great shall we get going?" I asked "We shall" he laughed holding out his hand for mine I gladly took it. He opened my car door for me being the gentlemen he is "So where are we going?" I asked "It's a surprise" he said grinning "Can I know of this surprise?" I asked with a puppy dog face "Oh fine only because that face was cute" he said laughing "So I was planning taking you to the new Mocking jay movie and going out to eat, how does that sound?" He exclaimed "YASSS HOW DID YOU KNOW IVE BEEN WAITING TO SEE MOCKING JAY" I yelled "I don't know, you know I have abilities to know what people think" he said smirking "Oh really now?" I asked laughing "Yes" he said smiling. We finally pulled into the movie theater and got our tickets and popcorn, we walked into the theater there wasn't to many people there. After about 10 minuets of watching previews the movie began. 30 minuets into the movie I could see Matt out of the corner of my eye staring at me "What are you staring at Espinosa" I whispered trying not to disrupted the people around us "Your beautiful face and did you just call me Espinosa?" He asked laughing a little, I blushed a little luckily It was dark so you couldn't see, "Yes I did got a problem" I said smirking "Yes I do" he began tickling me "Matt s-stop" I said laughing and out of breath "Not until you say your sorry" he said still tickling me people were yelling at us to be quiet shhhhh one lady said "Yeah Bailey shh your being loud" he said laughing "Shut up Espinosa and watch the movie" I said making us laugh. I noticed Matt moving his arm like he wanted to put his arm around me it was actually kind of amusing. "Matt?" I said "Yes" he said looking at me "I see you trying to put your arm around me just do it already" I said giggling I could see him blushing "Okay" he said while I snuggled into his side. After the movie was over he took me to Olive Garden my favorite. While we were waiting on the food he asked "Wanna play a game" "sure what game?" I asked "21 questions" he said "Okay you go first" I said "Have you ever had a boyfriend?" he asked suddenly the memories came back of Zach I started to tear up but quickly blinked them away. Matt had noticed my eyes tearing up "You okay?" He asked with a worried look on his face and putting his hand on mine "Um yeah" I said my voice cracking even though I wasn't okay "Bailey, I can tell your not okay, tell me what's wrong" he asked getting up to comfort me "I can't" I said tears flowing out "Yes, you can who's stopping you I can help you" he said dead serious looking me in the eyes I felt like I could trust him "Do you promise not to Judge me when I tell you this?" I asked "Yes absolutely" he said moving closer to me. "Well over a year ago my last boyfriend, Zach would abuse me, take advantage of me, curse at me, tell me I'm worthless and I don't deserve happiness" I said barley able to get it out crying a river "That eventually lead to me cutting myself finally he moved to Virginia never talking to me again I'm still broken I still believe everything he said about me being worthless, no one knows this you are the first person I've ever told" I said still crying while he was hugging me "Well Bailey I'm going to tell you one thing you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life, none of what he said is true, none of what he done was right there is nothing I can do about him taking advantage of you I can't change the past but I can fix you and what matters is your future being nothing but happiness and joy, I will protect you and make sure no one hurts you, I will treat you like you deserve like a princess, I will make sure you do not harm your self ever again, I'm going to help you like you deserve" he said tears coming down his eyes "Let me see you wrist" I showed him he looked in awe making the tears in his eyes fall harder he gently pulled my wrist up to us lips and kissed each and everyone of them. "Thank you Matt, you truly are the most wonderful person that I have ever met I'm so thankful you are in my life and I hope it stays that way" I said tears coming down my face kissing his cheek "Your welcome Bailey I mean every word I said I promise and I don't break my promises" he said wiping the tears from my eyes with his thumb and smiling. After we ate he drove me home "Thank you Matt for everything" I said hugging him he instantly hugged me back "You are so welcome beautiful" he whispered in my ear I could tell he was smiling "Goodnight" I said smiling "Goodnight" he said walking off, before I could take another he grabbed my hand spinning me around and kissing me. After the kiss was over we sat there smiling at each other "Why do we always kiss right here?" I asked still smiling "I don't know but I think I like it" he said making us laughing. "Will you stay with me tonight because I really don't wanna be alone?" I asked "Sure thing beautiful anything for you" he said smiling following me into the house we stayed up watching Netflix and laughing most of the time. Finally after I fell asleep he got up put a blanket over me and whispered "Goodnight Beautiful" and kissed my forehead those were the last words I heard before going into a deep sleep.
